Hello,
because of this community gives me a lot of value i have decided to share with you some simple strategy how to create high traffic boards. Probable a lot of you already use it and it is nothing interesting, but i belive a lot of people here who are struggling with this platform and this guide will be helpful.
Let's get started:

1. Of course, create boards in your niche and add them around 100-200 pins each. I noticed that people starts join rather when board is biggest than 100 fresh pins. You can use bot or make it manually.

2. Next click on your board, click "Invite", you will notice something like setting emoticon (rack) above "copy link" text, click on it. Select "Group requests" and "Group members" on. Right now on your board will be displyed bar "request to join" what means that everyone can ask to join your board.

3. Go to facebook and serch for "pinterest boards" ; "pinterest boards exchange" ; even only "pinterest". Join to groups. It is not very important to select only groups which specific in boards exchange because you don't sell anything. It is free stuff and admins won't have reasons to ban you.

4. Copy links to your boards and add post like: "Free boards for all of you. Just click request to join and i will accept everyone {link to your board}". After some time you will notice first people.

We engender snowball effect. Users will start adding their pins to your boards. Becouse members can also add others they will start exchange with other creators in this niche. Boards is open all the time what means that organic vistors will start asking for join and you, of course, accept them and expect bring their content what keeps your board alive and high traffic.

I hope you get some value out of it and help increse your business. If you have any questions just ask me in comments ;)
Cheers!

Thanks,

Do we have any service like this in the marketplace?

Thanks for the share mate :-)

I'm yet to try Pinterest but I always hear it's great for female traffic

Nice little guide. Pinterest is way underutilized so this is great

Your welcome. You are right, over 80% of my boards vistitors are female

Yeah but the question is are you making any money? I've had a lot of people ask me to join their board lately but I always decline because I see them as parasites.

Of course, many possibilities to monetize huge boards: affilate, own dropship store, selling shoutouts.

is it a good source for web traffic?
A lot depends from your pins, in pinterest section you will find post how to rank pins and this is a moment where you need high traffic boards

Yes it's a good source if you can manage to get around 300 views per pin and up a day. That's usually when I see conversions.

But if you do this your own post will go down quickly and the visitors will not see them
