[METHOD] How to find SUPER profitable Items to dropship on eBay

My friend is drop shipping water bottles and she made 6000 in a month. You need an online store and you need to know how to set up a particular area of expertise. Once you get it good, you can make a lot of money.

Where the item he get from ?

If you try to sell with $3 profit per item i guess it will not work. My opinion!
Beside that, the method is great ! Nice share !

but what about shipping time from aliexpress? do you just put in the ebay listing that your item location is in china instead of lets say, U.S.A?
Thank you

That's okay. I understand your concern. However: As an eBay seller myself I understood that I sell keywords, Not photos. So as you can see the keyboard that we found on Aliexpress is offering the same features that our 'competitor' is offering in keywords. Which means we can compete with him. the Idea was to share the method and let the reader understand how to outsource good products to dropship. I hope that It does the job well - and if not you can feel free to ask me anything.

Sounds like complete nonsense to me. You're not competing with the 'competitor' because you're selling a different product. If someone wants a computer keyboard they won't go buying a trash looking wireless android keyboard.

That's fine dear. you don't have to agree with anything.
Have a good day

Thanks a lot for this method -- super helpful. Another step which would add profit to the back end is ebates.com, especially if sourcing from aliexpress.

What I'm wondering too

Just starting into Dropshiping so this was very useful. I didn't know about Watchcount so this was great! Will be using it now.

I am going to look into this. I would have to list the products internationally since I do not live in the USA and I would want to target the USA. To sell internationally Ebay says you need to have 10 feedback points earned as a seller and have the first successful sale more than 90 days ago. I just had a look at my own personal ebay account I have had since 2006. I have exactly 10 feedback received as a seller. It's an aged account with 70 feedback overall. I guess I got lucky there. Seems like I am good to go. I wonder if because my account is so old that even though my feedback is from years and years ago I am going to get some sort of preferential treatment in my listing over newer users?

This my friends is a clean method, hoping many will bank with this.

It seems like pot luck to find a good product though. You just have to go searching until you find something because the ones I have checked so far are being sold far too low to the point where you would make a loss drop shipping. The only way this is possible is because these stores would be bulk buying from alibaba not aliexpress and then holding their own inventory.

Also even if you do find a product you can see on ebay that heaps of other people also are selling the same product for ali express and making a loss on it at least in dropshipping terms (unless they hold their own inventory).

Ok so for example with the OP's post yea you can find that keyboard but that mini wireless keyboard is like the side of a hand and is being sold on ebay for 5.49 see https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-2-4G-...hash=item284df4fc47:m:miPeG8QLxw_zYBsxkQvRedA which is less than what it sells for on Ali Express. The reason I never bothered with ebay drop shipping before is because of this very reason. You can't compete with the people who can buy from Alibaba or a Chinese reseller who can buy in bulk.

I don't see this method working because of how saturated ebay is and everything is being sold for less than what it states on ali express. Unless you find a product NO ONE sells but then you have to take the risk with that product since it's brand new and it might suck and you get charge backs.

This is a really great tip. I think this will actually make me go try to build an ebay site.

Thanks!

Nice share. I've sold thousand of items on eBay but I've never tried dropshipping.

Something to keep in mind with the "watch count" on eBay is that some listings can be very old and might not represent current demand.

I wonder how we can compete to the real chinese sellers? I mean, they sell at the exact same price as in aliexpress.

I think it isn't always about price. You are selling more than just a product but an experience. Your shop should be the customer's end stop for all of their niche needs. Be better than the competition at delivering not just a product but an experience.

Does this really work on ebay though? Unlike your own store on shopify where they see only your products, won't they see everyone's products? Imo the opportunity with this method might actually be in big ticket items and the reason I think that is because no one is holding massive inventory of items which cost 500 bucks. When an item costs 2 dollars from Ali Express it means from alibaba in bulk someone can buy 1,000 for pennies each and so if they hold that inventory they can sell it so cheaply compared to drop shippers. Try buying 1000 though of something that costs a few hundred dollars. Most people can't/won't do that so yea I think perhaps the opportunity lies in these expensive goods. This is of course not without its own challenges!

Yah I think it does. I search for Gaming Keyboard and one of the top listings was part of this store (not my store, no affiliate links): http://www.ebaystores.com/Hi-PC
Something like this would greatly improve your purchases.
I agree with you on the price point issue. However, I would offer this variation. List both cheap and expensive goods in your store so people can bundle similar goods. If I want an expensive monitor but I also see you sell cheap gaming keyboards and mice. I personally am more likely to buy all three from you rather than someone else. Probably doesn't work 100% of the time. But you are only looking to get a slice of the market.
To quote the great Brian from Anchorman: "60% of the time, it works every time!"
