[Method] How to find keywords which can rank faster

Use keyword research tools - There are a number of great keyword research tools out there that can help you find keywords which are more likely to rank quickly.


I will go with SEMRUSH here for the keyword "new game"

1. Go to SEMRUSH and navigate to keyword Magic Tool

2) Type in your keyword on the search bar. In our case its "new game"

Now we have 243.7k Keywords with a total volume of 3.1M. lets Filter this down a bit

A. Click on Volume tab and type in the Custom Range 1000 to

Now we are down to 368 Keywords. Lets do more filtering.


3) Look for Keywords with minimal SERP results

Go to Advanced Filter and under Results in SERP - Give the value -1000 (or any thing above 500). Click Apply.

Now we are down to 273 keywords, but as you can see under the Results tab, there are few keywords which has billions of SERP results. We dont need those.

4) Select all the Keywords. you may need to navigate to multiple pages at bottom and then click on Refresh button.

Now we are down to 95 keywords with minimal SERP of 0-1000.
PS - SERP results of SEMRUSH are not 100% accurate. But its worth.

5) Make sure your content is unique - If you don't have a unique piece of content, you're going to have a hard time ranking for that keyword.

Sir ahrefs is good for keyword research...
 
This method will find some low competition keywords but not as much as other methods.
And Semrush re-update is very slow.
I'd rather try Quora,reddit or Forums in my niche to get easy keyword to rank.
 
there are a lot of free software but SEMRUSH seems simple and understandable
 
This is beneficial. We were doing only with KD but now will use SV as well. It is a Nice trick. Thanks
 
SEMRUSH is really cool and great tool compared to Ahref. Both have unique features.

Use Google Keyword Planner to get more keywords from what you get from SEMrush tool.
 
Certain ways that will help in ranking the keywords faster are:
  • SEO Content Audit
  • Site Structure
  • Keyword Research
  • On-Page SEO
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Link Building
  • Content Creation
 
Using this method, I improved the ranking of several keywords with more than 1000 search volume to 1-3 positions in Google, but these keywords bring very little traffic every day.
I think this method has very limited effect in practical application :(
 
I've been using Keyword Magic Tool since forever, and the keyword difficulty is an awesome tool.

By finding lower KD and cross-referencing it with other factors, you have a higher chance of nailing keywords that either can rank immediately or very quickly.

Of course, it all depends on your overall niche.

If it's a heavy niche with a tremendous amount of competitors all over the world, your chances of finding such "golden keyword nuggets" drop tremendously.

Still, strategic internal linking as well as spending a tremendous amount of time carving out a sub-niche can pay off handsomely when it comes to this strategy.
