Hello, i guess you all heard or experienced some missing links you posted, on facebook pages or groups, and also facebook " not being able to get link preview "

the " link preview " issue, was solved, but what it means, is that some filters got applied to the link debug algorithm by Facebook.

now here's how to stay safe, and not risk of your links getting deleted, Because if you get many links deleted from your fan pages / groups, it might lead to pages getting unpublished and your account disabled at the end.

well, based on my notice, and some chat with a Technician working at Facebook, groups is almost immediate to take action regarding to posted links..

Solution is :

Create, or use a small group you don't really care about, post your links their from an account you also don't care about.

If link passed and stayed on the group, it means it's safe to use it on your big pages or groups.
If link doesn't pass, you will get an instant notification ( 2, 3 seconds ) saying that your link is considered as spam.

Hope you guys find this thread useful, please don't hesitate if you got any related question.

Have you tried it? and would it be fine if we share the Links from the new created group or page to the other pages?

But why is our links considered spam when it's not! I totally don't understand ! whats the algorithm or factors behind it. Like what we should do to avoid it ?

Also sometimes my links are posted to 1 page (they stay there) but after 2nd or third page then they are automatically deleted!

Can someone please explain how does this system works. This is total BS !

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is going to work. I have a link which is working fine on one of my page and got deleted from other page as soon as I posted. Both my pages are above 500K .

Still finding a solution to this.

I talk with team facebook about that !

Yes this is a known Facebook issue. It started happening last weekend and went away by itself on the weekend.

You can try Debugging and scraping each link before you post it and that works.

Go here:

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Put in your URL, then click Debug, then clicks Scrape Again until you see an image below. Then try to post the same link again and that should work.

You shouldn't have to do this all the time of course but it's a great back up.

Hopefully FB fixes itself soon enough.

Thanks,

Ayoub
