Hi guys,

There is a lot of misconception around here that in order to be successful making money online/with websites that you need to master SEO and it's the only viable source of traffic.

I have always approached SEO in a different way. It's nice to have, and if you follow best practises, create good content and attract quality links, you'll be successful. I don't artificially build junk links. I look for genuine sources of traffic which usually has the added benefit of a link. I don't care if it's do-follow, no-follow or whatever. I don't care if the site has DA30 or DA90. I just want relevance and traffic. Even one visit will do.

My team has helped put together a method/tutorial (it's pretty long!) on how we go about traffic generation on our sites and shows how we managed to get 594,000 page views in one day!

I just finshed reading your article. For me, Its hard to believe that BuzzBundle can generate that much traffic. I am going to try this method and will back with results.

It can't generate traffic on its own. The tool itself is just helpful for finding places you can get traffic/links. Any tool is only ever as good as its user. The art to this method is being able to get content to stick on forums/blogs/social media without looking spammy. For the sake of fairness, the site in question did already average around 250,000 pageviews a day so it was really an extra 300,000 visits that day. The key is being consistent with it's use. You can't use it once and expect to see results. Do it consistently, every day, and over time you will build a large number of targeted traffic sources.

That's a great wrap up in that post. I've used this method some time ago for a project of a client and it worked wonders.
There was a thread on BHW with licenses for Link Assistant software, including BuzzBundle. But the BuzzBundle package didn't work with those license keys, since you had to block the linkassistant website in the hosts file, and BuzzBundle is using the website somehow. So to make it work you need to pay for a license.

Not really. The free version works just fine if you're an anti-capitalist or don't want to pay for tools. It's pretty difficult to scale a business without paid tools, though, so there's also a paid option for those who want to scale. My business costs $XX,XXX a month to run. The same method can be applied elsewhere as well (in my 2011 thread I spoke about using Google Alerts, which isn't as effective any more). The fundamental method (find places people are talking about your niche and commenting/posting a link to your site) hasn't changed.

I found it easier to manage a team if they are using it instead of Google Alerts. As we run it off a VPS now I can see what they have been up to

You are right at some point, but since this information is useful, you must not have problems IMHO.

I had a comment about using a hypey title in the post (and here), saying it's all a little vague. Ironically, that's a good lesson to learn. Use a title people want to click on when using this method - think of a Buzzfeed type "viral" title. No-one wants to click/read a boring sounding article, so even if your content is boring (like a lot of niches!) come up with something people want to click on.

Let's say your site is about toasters. Toasters is not a cool niche. Following my $100/day method, instead of writing a post like "best toaster review 2015" (good for SEO, but no-one wants to click or link to it). Write something like "My 2015 Toaster Review: What You Must Know Before Buying a Toaster!"

You still effectively have the same keywords (if you're worried about SEO) but you're way more likely to get shares/links with a clickbait title like that.

The way I look at it (I don't really do keyword research): come up with a selection of titles around your niche that you think people will click on. Even if they are hypey (you will annoy some people), that's fine. Then work in your keywords in a way that still makes sense (like I did above).
