[Method] Easy Money through Facebook and Amazon

Hey guys,

I thought it was time to contribute a method to this brilliant community, so here's my post. This is actually my first post ever so please don't shred me to pieces because this one is a rather simple one. Maybe some of you even heard of this but I couldn't find a thread on this forum which is about what I'm going to tell you so let's get right into it.

As some of you might know, there are many sellers on Ebay and Amazon who buy their 5 - star feedback for their products just to make a better impression and get more sales. This is something we can exploit and use to our advantage.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- an Amazon account (preferably a Prime one) - It would be good if you already had some reviews on it but it isn't mandatory
- a Paypal account


TAKING ACTION

STEP 1 - Go to Facebook and look for groups with names such as "Amazon Product Review" and join them

STEP 2 - Look for a product that you could sell for a nice profit margin. It would be best if the product that you're choosing isn't too heavy or too big because you will later on sell the product as soon as you got it.

STEP 3 - Send the seller a message and tell them that you're interested in the product that you wanna get the product that you've chosen.

STEP 4 - Get the product delivered to your house and write a nice review for the product. If your review is really thorough and nice the seller will probably want to work with you again which means you'll be able to get more free stuff and sell it.

STEP 5 - Upload the product on Ebay or somewhere else and offer it for a smaller price than the competitors.

Yeah, I guess. Of course you can't scale this and make a long-term income off it but I think that you can get some nice start-up capital for some other ventures.

Haven't read the thread before but I think that it's the same approach, even though I would consider mine easier since you don't need any investment and this isn't blackhat

You actually need money to start this journey. I know those groups and sellers says go and order this i will refund your money once you recieve the product and write review so there's a good change of you being scammed

It looks like some shady scheme for me. Did it really make you decent money?

An old method, but I'm sure some newbies would appreciate some easy money to get started. I've seen it on other forums and it does work for some easy bucks

I did something like this. Ordered some cheap things, made a quality review (as much as I can) and earned money from affiliate marketing.

i dont see any person doing this most product are sold as seen .

there sent on paid order not stock.

i dont think many people got products hanging around to give to anybody .

there a lot of YouTube pro getting freebies not little man ..

it not easy to get products free ...

As I told you guys, I've used this method and I'm not even trying to promote some website or some seller, so there's that. Also, I'm not saying that is was scalable but it is a great option to earn some startup capital for some other journeys that you might try on BHW

I agree this is totally workable. If you need free stuff, there are dozens of sellers that would give their product for free for a 5 star review. Facebook groups / dedicated "Amz discount" sites are full of them. About getting scammed as a reviewer, that`s a low chance because you could leave the seller 1 star review on product + seller account and in the end return the product as payback, so no real risk for you there. What happens more often than not is the buyer scamming the sellers, and the sellers can't do much about it.

i actually have looked into this "money making technique." The thing is, these groups are full of scammers. Let me draw it out for you:

1. Amazon ban accounts that have too many returns
Sure, you can return and leave a negative review for the item if the person from the review group doesn't refund as promised. Amazon frown upon users who take advantage of their free returns. I'd say anything returns over 10% of purchased items is a red flag for them even if you have your account for few years. There isn't a specific number that causes Amazon to ban you but if they didn't they'd be losing tons of money from return shipping fees. Just google "banned by amazon for having too many returns."

2. Paypal issues after receiving funds
The person can file dispute and possibly get your paypal account banned. Just read in a review group from a member saying he had gotten his account banned because the person who refunded him money after purchase filed a dispute. It's a lose lose situation for the buyer in my opinion even after a paypal refund.

3. The transaction is a two way street.
More than often these sellers (agents, promoters, etc) in the review groups will ask for your Paypal email, Amazon profile screenshot or link to see your profile and look at your review history/posts to make sure you are active and know how to write a review. They'd usually ask you if your account is new or not. The thing buyer's or newbies in this venture usually forget to ask the seller for their credentials (i.e. ask for proof of their previous successful transactions). Ask them questions like who are they working for, contact information, and seller information on Amazon. If they're not an agent, ask for them to screenshot after logging into their seller account. Just FYI, even with screenshots of proof (can be faked or taken from another seller), you can't really know for sure if he/she will not screw you after buying the product from Amazon.

4. Go for the 90-99% codes if you want to score good deals.
It's usually limited to certain number of people, and most likely will run out before you get to contact the seller. There are lots of housewives and cheapasses scouring these groups like vultures. So if you're not acting like one, you'd have a hard time getting these codes.

5. The seller can be posing as an agent for a company from Amazon.com but in reality is working to sabotage his/her competition.
These people will say things like, "Free product, full refund after review or no review no feedback required." Newbs take this as easy money but they don't realize these people are making you buy and never intend to refund you because they know you'll most likely get pissed off and leave a negative review for the seller of the product they're posting in the group. That seller you bought from could be his/her competitor so if you leave a negative review it's a win for them.

6. Reviews are being reviewed by Amazon
It isn't for sure that your reviews will be approved by Amazon. Most of times if you can't screenshot or show proof your review that stuck to the seller's account, you wouldn't be able to get your refund from the seller from the review group. Also if Amazon find your activity to be suspicious, they can ban you for getting incentives for doing reviews. You have to look at how many sales a seller on Amazon is getting for the product and see the sales/reviews ratio for their item. If the numbers don't check out, you'll possibly lose your account. It's the same with your account. If you don't normally do reviews and all of a sudden you're doing X amount of reviews a day, then you might get the ban hammer too if Amazon finds out.

In conclusion, if it's too good to be true, it usually is. My scam radar goes of whenever I see posters write "FREE FREE FREE" begging for reviewers to pm them. The most enticing ones are the ones with $15+ commission plus full paypal refund after you do review. Don't get me wrong, there might be some out there that aren't shady. But are you willing to take the chance and find out the hard way? Do your own research before committing to anything. It's a dog eat dog world and it's just going to get harder as the day goes by.

I'm no Amazon expert but I've had my share of trial and error. Don't just take my word for it, look around online and see what others are saying. I hope someone more knowledgeable reading this can chime in and maybe share something I haven't in this thread. Anyway, good luck hunting!
