Hi,

Most of us need to track a large number of keywords and many are paying for premium rank tracking service. Premium Rank Tracking is necessary to track most important keywords but the costs pinch when we need to track large number of long tail keywords.

I tried many methods to track the keyowords in bulk. This is the method I use to track upto 240 keywords daily per website for very cheap. It requires some investment upfront and a small recurring fee.

Ok Enough talk, lets get to it.

Step 1: Acquire Rankie Plugin for Wordpress

It costs $21 if you are looking to support the developer, it is available at https://codecanyon.net/item/rankie-wordpress-rank-tracker-plugin/7605032 or you can source from other places including Deleted member 752298.

What this plugin does is query google every 6 minutes and gets your ranking position. That is why there is a limit of 240 keywords per day, so the IP does not get banned.

Step 2: Get proxy

This step is not necessary if you are hosting a single site on your server or hosting. However, it is preferred. I currently use proxies.com his sales thread is here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/p...d-ips-50-month-custom-anti-detection.1208016/ . There were some issues for some people, but my rankie worked fine and is still working fine. I hope everything is sorted because the cost of proxies is great.

The main benefit of using proxies.com is its cost, you get a proxy for 0.30 per month to work with specific website, in our case google.com

You can get proxies for any other source.

Step3: Install

Just install Rankie Plugin, put in proxy and you are done. Optionally, I use cronjob to ensure everything gets triggered timely.

So just sit back and received daily updated rank changes in your mail first thing in the morning.

So total cost for me is $0.30 per site per month. Hope this is helpful

Got free proxies lying idle so putting them to good use now :)

Thanks for this, very cheap. I'm guessing you're limited to search location and if you wanted to track local keywords and snackpacks?

there is option to change search location in rankie including putting in latitude and longitude, however, it would be best if you have proxy from the same location. I don't track snack pack ranking, and I am not sure how rankie tracks that, best to ask the developer.

Rankie will slow your website just like broken link checker (specially on shared hosting) . I had to uninstall it.
These type of tasks are better done off-site.

Nice share. Should be useful for newbies who can't afford premium serp tracker.

Anyway how accurate is the tracker OP? And does it make your site's speed slower?

Is this safe for a money site

I don't see how it could affect money site rankings, its just a query going from your proxy to google.

No slow down felt in any of my sites, its not very resource extensive, just does a query every 6 minutes. I have seen no slowdown even on sites on shared hosting, but the hosting is good quality

Thats the big question.

With regard to searching google and finding your site and reporting position, it's accurate.

However, with different stuff showing up in search results like youtube video links, product links, etc. etc., How it interprets and ranks the results can be different from how you see results. For e.g. some people ignore youtube video links at the top, but some people count them.

That said, I generally see good consistency in where it shows the position on daily basis.

I personally, use this method to track my secondary or long tail keywords. For my primary keywords I use premium rank tracker, so I know exactly what's showing in the SERP where.

This method has it cons, but has its pros in term of cost savings.

Got it, I am checking this tool now. Will update this thread later with feedback.

Or you can use a little gem site known as scraping.services - this is where MOST "premium" providers get their data from. It's insanely cheap and has an API.
And before anyone says it, no it's not my site.

Ok so after couple of days of testing I can say this tool is waste of time and money. It does not check ranking for any keyword nor show any error if I am doing anything wrong.
I tried testing in real time and waited for 2 days but no changes. The keyword and domain is very popular so there is no way they are not ranking with their brand name. You can see in below screenshot.

Edit: I also used 10 private proxies.

It works fine for me, using it on multiple sites. Please check log, if there are any errors it will show there. I use cronjob to ensure it fires correctly. Also, the up-to-date is not showing "check mark", if it is working properly then it shows check-mark against it.
