[METHOD] *** Build a dirt cheap autoblog EMPIRE with a TWIST ***

So I got this idea while making a post about useful WP plugins. When I looked at them all in one place, my brain immediately started combining them together and this method came out from this.

So what is this method about?

Well it's simple. We're gonna be doing WordPress autoblogs! Yeeey.
However, we won't be building some crappy autoblog that scrapes pieces of traffic from g0ogIe. It's 2012, duplicate content "ranks" only so much.

We are also not gonna be spinning articles in to semi-unique but fully unreadable giberish that no sane living person would read.
We are also not gonna be building 1 or 2 autoblogs.

We will be building an autoblog empire. What's better, we're going to use stuff that's been shared on BHW to minimize our investment costs. Actually, other than buying domain names and hosting (and we will minimize those costs as well), we won't need to make any kind of investment.


But let's do some theory crafting before jumping in to details.

We need to ask ourselves, what does our 1 autoblog need to accomplish in order for us to be able to make an empire out of multiple similar blogs:

1. It needs to be self - sufficient. Doh, that's why they call it "AUTOblog"
2. It needs a stable traffic source - again, no g0ogIle, it is hardly stable
3. It needs to make us money without too much intervention from our side
4. It needs to be easy & cheap to make and in the same time, look as good as possible

So these are the conditions that each and every one of our autoblogs needs to abide.


1) It needs to be self - sufficient.

When building an autoblog, you don't want to constantly update your content manually. Actually, you don't to look at it AT ALL. You want to set it and forget it. While a general peak at your blog will be require, we can get 99% close to that goal.

Our first free weapon of choice for this is:
Auto Blog Samurai

This software is one of the critical features of our autoblogs cause without it, they wouldn't be "auto" blogs.
I'm not gonna write too much about it, you can read the other thread to get more info about this.

What we need to know about this is that you can take any RSS feed or bunch of PLR articles, click some buttons and voila, it will automatically post 1,2,3 months worth of content in a form of 1-100 articles per day, depending on your settings.

Our second free wepon of choice is this:
WP Youtube Mass Embedder

This one is automated to the point where you just give it a list of keywords and it will find videos related to that keyword and automatically post them on your blog.
It will diversify things a bit so it's not all articles, make our blogs look even better and provide us with A LOT more content.

2) It needs a stable traffic source

This is our twist. We will rely only on social media traffc.

This WP plugin is yet another critical feature in this method.

It automatically shares each new post on your Social Media profile (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Linkedin, Delicious, Pinterest, Tumblr, Blogger, Wordpress)
Now depending on the niche of your autoblogs, some of those sites might be more suitable then others. For instance, if you're doing "health" niche, Pinterest will probably bring you more traffic than Linkedin. In the same way, if you're in the "business" niche, Linkedin will probably bring you much more traffic than Pinterest.

For now, we only need to know that this is one of the key features that makes this method work.


3) It needs to make us money without too much intervention from our side

The most simple solution would be to use a plugin for Adsense and load lots of ads on every post. While you can try to do that, IMO there's a very good chance you will get banned. I don't have much experience with this but if you have an Adsense code on loads of similar websites with duplicate content, you're bound to get in to trouble with adsense.

Depending on your niche, you could use something like:

It will automatically display new and relevant amazon ads.


You will most likely want to use "Simple Ads Manager"

It's not so simple to use properly but take yourself 1h to learn it and you're good. It allows you to place and rotate ads of various sizes inside every post. You can show them before posts, in the middle or in the end.

Or you might go another route of monetization. Upload a niche related PLR article to FileIce or some other PPD site and promote it in Your sidebar as a free download. This one is ultimately up to you but you can (And I suggest you do) use a combination of everything.


4) It needs to be easy & cheap to make and in the same time, look as good as possible

The essence is this:

• When you want to make one new blog, you have to do it as fast as possible and the resulting design has to look appealing to the reader.

So this is what you do. You design one blog from scratch. Try to use such combination of theme and design so that the site looks simple yet 2012.
Add plugins (again, refer to my previous post for some useful plugins), fill the sidebar, setup the ads, etc. Do everything except upload any content.

It would really help if you have some basic photoshop skills to be able to make a unique logo for every site. Instead of giving you a solution for this, I say learn it! You can watch a tutorial and use it to create a basic logo. If nothing else, download some cool fonts and type your blog's name in that.

And just duplicate this design for all your blogs. Then log in and change the logo, setup the ads (if they have to be niche specific) and you're done.



The "How to"

So now we got the concept covered, let's start building our empire step by step. Do this with 5 - 10 blogs at a time. Less if you feel kinda scared but don't go over 10 at a time.


1) Find a niche
You want to look in to medium to large niches. Something that has a lot of content sources and lots of traffic. You can even go for those really high competition niches like weight loss since you will be relaying on social media traffic.

Let's say for example... "cooking". Or to be a bit less general, cooking recipes. You want that kind of "broad" term and you will see why in a second.


2) Content source
For AutoBlog Samurai, you need either PLR articles or RSS feeds. Both will work but depending on the niche, you might want to go with RSS feeds. But if you're in an evergreen niche like cooking recipes, PLR articles will be fine.

So if you're going for RSS feeds, you need to find them. Just search for cooking recipes blogs and find those with RSS feeds (most of them will have it). For now just find as many as you can and save their URLs in a .txt


3) Domain & Hosting
You want to minimize the costs of this as best as you can. So what if I told you you could build your first 10 blogs for $10 ?

Well this is why we chose a broad niche.

Go to namecheap and buy a general domain like "goodoldrecipes" or something like that. Make sure it's a .com. That's $9.
Now go to hostgator or to whatever hosting provider you want and buy a pack that allows you to create unlimited subdomains. That's $1 first month than $10 every new month.
Log in to Cpanel and create 10 subdomains. For example, one subdomain could be "sweets.goodoldrecipes", another subdomain could be "chicken.goodoldrecipes", yet another could be something like "cakes.goodoldrecipes"

This is why you pick a broad niche with many subcategories. Maybe if you can afford more domains, you can just buy regular .coms and skip this subdomains part. Anyway, the point of this is to be able to get 10 blogs from 1 domain. This way, you can build blogs in batches of 10 and each new batch costs you excactly $10 per month (9$ domain + 1$ hosting first month, then $10 hosting per month)

You can probably have more than 10 blogs on one hosting but there's only so much one shared hosting can take. Especially when you start getting more and more traffic on your blogs.


4) Make a Social Media Account for every blog.
You don't need all of them, but at least Facebook, Twitter & G+. You would most likely want to have pinterest as well.


5) Install WP and plugins on each of them
Don't forget to add Social Networks Auto Poster plugin.
You might also include plugins like "Quick Cache" to make your site load faster. And "1-click Share/Like/Retweet" (or a similar plugin) to make sharing of your content easy for readers.

6) Design
Like I wrote before, make them look good. Preferably come up with a different logo for each one.


7) Monetization
Now we will look at an example of a single site how we would go about monetization. Let's say that you're not too sure about adsense.
You could probably get away with 1 ad per post but I'm not going to tell you to do that since I'm not sure if you could get banned from this. Use Adsense in this at your own risk.

My advice to you is that you include everything you can think of. Especially if you don't really know what you're doing. CPA, Clickbank, Amazon, Some other ads site like Adsense (I haven't used any so I won't give any advice on that), PPD and even some email list building. Pull up some CPA offers with good precreated banners, a clickbank product related to your niche, etc. Utilize AdsPlugin Amazon plugin and Simple Ads Manager.

Setup #1:
For instance you could put CPA offers to rotate in the middle of the post, clickbank product link at the end of the post, Amazon plugin in the sidebar and setup our popup N-I-N-J-A plugin to collect emails in exchange for a freebie (you can give out a PLR article with cooking tips, be creative)

Setup #2:
Some Adsense - like ads in the middle of the post, at the end of a post a FileIce link to that PLR article with cooking tips with anchor text "Want to improve your cooking ? Download this "Cooking for newbies" E-book"

Do whatever you think is best. You can focus more on email lists. Or maybe more on amazon. It's your choice. You can get aWebber for $1 first month and start building yourself an email list.

After you're done creating that one setup. Clone the site with "Wordpress Cloning Script" (link above)

Advanced Method
Put a slightly different setup on each site and see which one performs best over. Tweak them even more to squeeze as much $$$ as you can from each one.


8) Aditional Tweaking
Log in to each WP admin panel and setup your "Social Network Auto Poster" plugin so it posts to the right social media accounts. Also tweak any other settings that you want like ad placement, ad types, etc.


9) Content
Now it's time schedule posts for your blogs. Add every blog to AutoBlog Samurai. And match different RSS feeds to different blogs. You might need to search for more of those since now you have a better idea on what will each blog be about.
Setup some 2-3 RSS feeds (You don't want to leech content from only 1 RSS feed per blog but you don't need too many provided they post often) and set it to post 1-3 posts a day. Initially you might want to set the Samurai to post 5-10 articles on your blog so it looks filled up.

Be sure to leave some kind of link / mention of the content source or you might end up in trouble. And if some1 complains about you using their content, STOP USING THAT RSS FEED IMMEDIATELY. If not, you can very well get your ass sued.

Do the same with Youtube Mass Embedder. I don't know if you can schedule posts with it, but if not, just fill it up a bit so it doesn't look empty and then every few days let it posts 2-5 videos per blog.

If you've set up the Social Network Auto Poster plugin properly, this should fill up your social media accounts nicely. Careful with twitter cause you can get banned if you post too much when your account is new.



So you're basically done. The loads of relevant content you post daily should attract traffic and fans to your social accounts naturally. You can kick start it if you want but they will start getting traffic eventually. This isn't a method that will earn you 1000s of $$$ the first week. But just keep building new sites and when your old sites start rolling, there won't be any stoping them. Traffic produces traffic. Especially if you make it easy for readers to share your content.

The point of this is not to build one autoblog and then stop. It's to produce loads of them.
I've shown you a way to make 10 autoblogs on 1 domain and 1 hosting. That's $10 per month. So You need to make more than $1 per blog a month to make it worth your while. I can tell you that once you start getting more fans in your social accounts, and they start sharing your content, there is no way you can't make $5 per day per blog. And even that is nothing.


Here are some ideas on how to to kick start your blogs (you will need some kind of way to change your IP - VPN, Proxies or Dynamic IP):
- Make a new YLH account for each new blog.
- Link it with twitter and pinterest and set the payout ratio for each new follow as low as you can (in this case, 2).
- Set 2-3 tweets about your blog and link it to 2-3 different posts. Keep the tweet as short as possible. Set the ratio for each one to 4-5.
- Set 1 pin about your blog. Set the ratio to 3-5. (if your niche works well on pinterest, you might put this even higher)
- DL this YLH bot and let it run for some time
This part requires that you have some solid private proxies. You can do like 5 accounts per 1 proxy. I wouldn't suggest using more since you can easily get banned by YLH. If you have no private proxies you can try to do this with public ones (not recommended).

If you don't have proxies of any kind, then just do this part manually. Grad the daily bonus, tweet some tweets with your profile, follow some followers, pin some pins and follow some people on pinterest. Stack about 1k points. Then double check that you have everything set up in YLH properly and close it and never look back on this YLH account.

If you do have proxies and are using this bot write down the details for this account and the proxy you used. Run the bot once a week for 3-4h on that account. Repeat for all acounts.

When you're repeating this process for a new blog, make sure you change your IP (VPN, Proxies, Reset your router if you have dynamic IP) and clean your cookies before making a new account. Just to be on the safe side. You can probably get away with not cleaning your cookies for each new blog, but you won't get away if you build 10-20 accounts on 1 IP.

This *SHOULD* give you the kick start you need.

Here are some other sites you can use for this. Just like YLH, make a new account for each new blog.
http://traffup.net/retweets/ - use it for retweets. You can get some good startup twitter traffic with this site. Don't use it for website traffic.
http://www.linkcollider.com/broadcast.php - use it for FB shares (since I don't know any other site that does this well), there's a bot for this site on BHW, search for it.
http://www.addmefast.com - use it to for facebook / twitter / pinterest / g+ followers

You could try try joining with your own ref. link. However, this part might get you banned. But then again, these are just disposable accounts so play around with it a bit and see how it goes. Don't use this without private proxies and without cleaning your cookies with CCleaner first. And use a different proxy for each account that joins this way.

The autoblog seems pretty redundant when you can just drop monitized links in twitter/fb/what have you.

If you have little cash you can really ramp this thing up with 2cent clicks from infolinks. Hell you don't even need a web sites they let you direct link to anything. Great job on putting this together.

My own suggested twist to this: get a WordAI account and use it to produce unique content for all the blogs.

Sure, it would add an expense and it would cost more time. But since the content will be unique, you might get a bit more traffic that way.

Could pay off in the long run!

Well how do 100% white hat blogs that don't do ANY promotion get traffic ? It's the internet, if you have good content, the word gets out.

So this depends on the automation you want to achieve. You can keep building new blogs and let the promotion part be done naturally. This way there will be some time before each blogs get's going but you don't care. You just keep building new ones and eventually they will become profitable.
This is why you're getting high quality rss feeds from legit blogs. So you know your content is able to generate fans on it's own.

If you use things like Word AI, sure you might get a chance to rank but your whole social media part of this method will suffer. That content may be unique but it is not really appealing to read.

However, this is all from the top of my head.

You could do a split test of let's say... 5 blogs with word AI content , 5 blogs with RSS feed content. After 1 month or so, compare their follower numbers, traffic and revenue. While I'm 90% sure that you would be better of by completely removing search engine traffic from this equation, I may be wrong. Test, test, test.

Now if you want to kick start it then obviously you will be spending more time on one blog. This will reduce the number of blogs you can produce but you may succeed in kick-starting them so this could translate in to better revenue. Again, test, test, test.
