Is this still relevant in 2016. Also i have a question about the link building. I live in the Netherlands and i can think of a few company who might be interesting. So, i know the part of getting costumers that for me seems to be the easy part.

The link building part i dont really understand. Are you only offering those company to rank on google? If you build up links for them they start to rank in google. Will they stay there, for how long?

Will this mean that I only have to use scrapebox for the google boost and only scrapebox ( or a other service) can scale the website clients website to number one? Or use some other service to rank on google using fivver or someone on this forum?
Is this method also working for dutch companies with dutch website. How does this work with link building? do i need to write articles in dutch or can i just make an article in English.


The steps from what i understand is:

1. Get clients
2. write a article and a press release ( what is a press release?)
3. get scrapebox, someone on fiver or on this form to build links
4. because of this link building the website ranks in google.
5. client is happy

Is it really this simple? Because you outsourcing almost 90% of the work.

Great tut @boomboomer but I have the same question as Dano2 - There are a lot of metrics provided but I'm struggling to work out which is the page rank you are referencing.

@GWalkaa @dano2 The original post was published a bit over 4 years ago. If you're doing this today, looking at the PR probably won't help. You should look at other metrics which might give you an indication of how hard it'll be to displace the current sites that appear on page 1.

Thanks again - I was thinking surely it can't be that simple - Within my experience of SEO which has been the last 2 years. I was looking at one sector and referencing the links and authority as a much quicker way to establish a target.

@boomboomer do you have an example of a metrics result that can tell us whether or not it's worth it to try to rank the site?

You can use exact search results but then you'd have to add up exact search results for all kinds of variations of the search term. The broad search number gives you a fair idea of the total searches being performed.

Good idea about creating scarcity, I always thought it was a good idea to not let the clients know about who else you are soliciting but I guess I should try your method =]
