If you're not sure whether you're emailing the right person with your sales letter, you can use a tool in Linux called TheHarvester. It gets you ALL the email addresses associated with a particular domain. Use other tools such as Maltego to get all phone numbers associated with a specific person's name, all websites associated with a specific name etc. Calculate how much time you're spending collecting these website addresses, checking their competition, looking up who is information, looking up keywords, preparing emails etc every day. Several hours? Build an automated tool / bot to do ALL these things for you while you're sleeping, or while you're doing something even better. Well, that's the beauty of computers! Why not use it?

The explanation is great. Simple and concise, in very motivating words, I don't know how it could be explained any better. I am going to be surprised if I see too many questions about the method because everything is right here.

Great method mate. I'm having a directory site and I was wondering how I could profit from it. The main concept from what I understand is to have multiple services which are cheap, so that anyone will be able to give at least 5$ for advertising.

The link building part isn't the same anymore. It's been a very long time since I made that first post and like most things online, link building techniques also have to evolve. I'm considering doing a live case study here on BHW (to rank such websites) as soon as I can find the time!

If you wanted to go the route of ranking a website then renting it out, how do you decide on the URL?
 
Pretty straight forward, I would up my cost to get a company on the first page though.
