[Method] Banking Over $4,000/month - Sneaky 7 Step Offline Method

This should work just as well in 2014. Start out by ranking one of your domains, the opportunities after that are endless. If cold calling isn't your thing, schedule presentations online or in-person. Or, create a quick video of how their website goes on the first page. Anything to close the deal! ;)

Good method great info but it all goes down the same funnel...how to rank 1st page.

If it's a local business with a modest number of searchers per month then a one off package in the link building BST here should be more than enough to rank the site. Granted, it'll push the costs up but if you're charging $500 for a service and you're having to fork out $135 then its a good deal.

I thought I would chime in on this.. I read this thread last night and thought it was a great way to approach new clients. I did some research.. spent about 2 hours if that doing it.. I have made about 15 calls.. and landed a client.

Now I am charging $1500 upfront or $2500 once we are able to get rankings. A bit more then what the OP was charging.. but IMO it does not matter the cost is if you are offering something that someone needs.. they will pay.

Lower price points do not mean you will get a sale.. just bear that in mind.

I run a few offline services where I am from and I am happy to do the work upfront for more if the client is happy to do so as I know I can send them off to the debt collectors if they do not pay, but to be honest that hardly ever happens.

The client I landed was a $1500 upfront fee.. not bad for a few hours of work.. and I will get my VA's to do the link building.. easy as.

Only have to do this ten times a month.. and its a good income stream. Get a VA to conduct all the market research and you make the calls.. Eventually you know what will work and what will not work and then you can hire and train telesales staff.. not a bad little model.

This can be done (and I have tried it) but the results are much, much better if you accompany this with a phone call. Think about this - out of all the emails that you receive everyday, how many emails do you read till the end and more importantly, how many emails do you take action on!

If you simply don't want to call anyone, partner up with or hire someone who is good at cold calling. You might have to split profits (or pay a salary) but the increased conversions make it worthwhile.

I love prospecting the most out of all the things/techniques/methods/processes that are associated with my projects! I love to cold-call and I am great over the phone. Why am I great over the phone? Because I generate every bullet I can think of that is associated with the products/services I am working with and I match those bullets up to every possible objection I can think of, or have gotten on actual phone calls to prospects, while finding ways to word my bullets (selling points) and rebuttals to objections in a way that generates a real need for the prospect. Also, a couple big keys are to just stay calm, speak naturally as if you were talking to someone close to you, don't worry about getting no after no after no (if you get a no, ask them why to get them to give you an objection and then rebut the objection and re-close, repeat until you get a yes), maintain the tone and volume of your voice so as not to sound like you are arguing, never be afraid to rebut objections and never be afraid to close. The worst that can happen is they might hang up on you, which isn't really all that bad. Each no is a step closer to a yes! Always be closing! Hope this helps! Great posts by the way!!!

another quick update.. landed another client.. worth $2500... just over the phone.. def does work

I am putting more work into my presentation at the moment.. which adds to the credibility of the service... hence the higher price tag as well.

Why do you only ask 200$?
You should ask much more.

If you bring the dentist (only) 10 more customers in a month, and he charges a minimum of 50$ for each one, he already made 500$, in a month.
You could ask at least 1,5k$.

Wow, a really nice and detailed plan, going offline is not really my thing but this makes me want to try a few things :D

Really good post OP. Anyone of you guys can recommend me a good link building service which can rank this type of site? I prefer something whitehat, and I don't think I can trust the link building market here on BHW or Fiverr Gigs.

Man, I gotta get into offline marketing. On my list of things to do this year and this is a good start. Thanks OP.

What is an "article" and a "press release". Can someone please elaborate this point for me ? I'm a complete noob. Bear with me.

This is a good method to earn a stable income each month. One thing I always try to do is to rank a new website that I control and then post all of their information on the site instead of ranking the clients site. This gives me more control and makes sure that my time is not wasted if they cancel. I do not lock them into a contract so if they decide to not use my service any longer, I simply delete their information and then rent it out to a new client in their area.

Awesome thread OP!

I will definitely be working on this one in the very near future. I have to up my basic SEO game though, I am a complete and utter noob at both SEO and outsourcing.

This has definitely piqued my interest. Very much appreciated.

Kon.
