[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

Sounds like a good method. Have you tried buying on ebay to sell on Amazon? I assume that works as well.

I have heard it does work. The only issue I imagine is Amazon being way more strict on their standards. If you ship outside the expected time frame it will be reflected and you will lose selling privileges. Additionally, you have to hope the eBay seller follows through and actually provides what they are claiming. I would rather go the other way and sell items from a proven company with high standards.

Now that I finally have some time this summer I'm going to buckle down and get a good start on this method. I'm really hoping I'm able to push this far enough to replace my part time job!

Anyone from outside of the US want to partner with my US account. I have one issue, but I bring a few extra tools to the table. Great english required.

Just wanted to give a quick thanks to OP (lewy2k) for this method. I just implemented this 2 days ago and got 3 sales so far. 2 unfortunately from outside the US despite my description CLEARLY indicating that I don't ship internationally but still excited to get the one sale nonetheless. I'm just waiting to see how the first sale goes and if there are no issues, I'm going list 80 more products to have a total of 100 listed.

I only listed 20 to test it out and avoid the insertion fees as I don't have an ebay store ... yet.

Thanks again lewy2k, this is an easy and fantastic method!

Hello,
l have a question about returns. I gave the buyer shipping label so he have send back the item to amazon. But the amazon didn't refund me, instead they gave me gift card balance. Is this because l have send the item as a gift so the buyer woun't get invoice ?.
Thank you

Return the item as "Defective" and in the description write "no good" (this is from D$Domination). They will give you a full refund to your card. Then you can use UPS pickup for free for the return.

I have done a ton of returns because I was selling an item a lot of people thought was a tent but wasn't. If you want, you can say "I need to deduct $5 (or whatever) from your return to cover return shipping" If you return the item as defective you will get your full refund + the $5 or w/e from the buyer so you still make a profit. I've done this about 10 before closing that listing as I was worried Amazon would be pissed.

In regards to the copywritten image being taken down, I had that once too. It was for the card game Cards Against Humanity. It was pulled by the publisher of the game as the image itself was copywritten. You could try editing the image, or just find another image from google, perhaps taken by a normal person.

I think this was just Cards Against Humanity trying to cut down on resellers, I doubt it will happen for other items unless they're huge brand name sort of things.

Wayfair(dot)com is a good site for sourcing items as well. They offer 2-day shipping on a lot of stuff. Good for things you can mark up much higher like patios sets or w/e.

I am always given a refund. I don't know what you did differently.

I am from India and here Amazon sends packages by Fulfillment by Amazon services WITH invoices. Anything that could be done? Also, I searched for some Drop Shippers across India. The Drop Shipping scene isn't that big but there are some sellers. Should I go with them?

If there are Drop Shippers available in India, I am sure there will be tons of reliable Drop shippers in USA which you guys could use for better profits.

Thanks a lot for all the useful info. I started this week and have 3 products up so far.

My products are in the lower price range 30-50$. As you suggested I do not plan on charging my clients for tax either and will take the "hit" when it happens. But on more expensive items taking into account the 14% ebay / paypal fees plus potential taxes, I will lose money.

I have my eye on some upper priced products on Amazon. Do you compensate for this by giving yourself a higher profit margin of safety? The risk/benefit is not worth it if we stick to the $7 guideline.....i mean even if we bump the 7$ to 20 or 30$, not knowing the taxes on a 300$ product could put us in the hole.

I have read EVERY post so if I missed where you answered this I apologize in advance.

Lewy2k, what do you do about having Amazon accounts being banned? I have ran into several issues time and time again. Seems I am tripping red flags when I open a new account and use a credit card on it. Amazon locks the account and says that the billing address doesn't match (but it does).

I've been interested in dropshipping via this very same method for over 6 months now and have over 1000 items currently listed even before finding this very insightful thread. I've also made numerous sales, but not sure I've even made much money because of fees and competition. Will have to crunch numbers as soon as I can make time. Would love to open up a Skype chat with you sometime to see how we can help each other.

I just ordered a few things with Amazon Prime and they all came with invoices. Said Amazon, had the price, the whole shebang. Any thoughts OP? I didn't mark anything as a gift, does that matter?

I have never been banned to this day. The only thing that has ever happened is having my Prime access revoked for reselling, which was on my personal account after 4 months of use. I never have it revoked during my 30 day trial accounts. So I can't really say what your issue is.

It seems they are going back to using them after not using them on most purchases the past couple years, so in that case I would start marking them as a gift from now on, and they won't see the price. If your communication, customer service and shipping speed are excellent, the buyer won't care where it came from.

Hi Lewy2K, if I may ask, do you drive additional traffic to the sales page at all ?

No. I don't think it's necessary, eBay is the largest auction site in the world, there is plenty of organic traffic as long as you post items with the best titles you can.
