[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

guys I have lost a couple days studying this method and some hours researching products and listing them, after this results I will invest more time in this method, I hope this month do 10x more ;)

my tips:
- use this calculator to calculate fees and profit (don't forget amazon shipping taxes to some areas) http://finalfeecalculator.com
- study the ebay algorithm to rank your products better (can't say more than this lol)
- use a template in the description
- be careful with the copyrights, you can be easily banned for this reason
- don't give up

so your profit was around 150-200?

i made money... but i messed up on my first sale. didnt pay attention and the price went up. so technically i only made like 4 after fees

I have done some mistakes too, I sent 2x the same order lol, but that ''false sale'' does not enter in the 21 sales. I'm not sure what was the profit at the moment, but was something like $100 I think, without all the errors the profit could be probably $150. I have spent too little time on this, but I will explore this method this month.
 
How do you make money with this? I did a comparison of about 15 products and after Ebay/Paypal fees you are left with a .50c - $1 gain.

Is there a certain category of items that works for this plan?

It takes a while to find items you can sell.

But basically amazon has some good deals every once and awhile... find those... check to see price on ebay... and sell for a profit.

It wont work for all products... but im pretty sure there are sell-able things in each category...

congrats on your first sold product.

i remember how happy i was too... i also remember the dread that filled me when i realized not only was my product out of stock, the price had gone up.

when that happened i quickly went on google and tried to find the same product in other places... well the Amazon discount price was too damn nice and i was left with regret.

luckily the person i was selling to was really nice. i sent her an email stating that the supplier was having technical difficulties at the warehouse and it most likely wouldnt be shipped for another week. i stated she could get her money back withno problems. all she had to do was email me back with her response.

at this point i was praying she wanted a refund. but nope... she said it was fine and she coulf wait.

luckily amazon stocked up and i sent it was faster than my estimated time.. she gave me a exxelent reviewbut i lost like 2$ on the sale. wheb i should have made like 12$ profit.

sux... but i have no reviews... so i guess it was worth it.


for question 2... i would just send a message to ebay and ask about the unfinished checkout(just to have on file that you did try to contact them). then i would just cancel it. i mean... they prob was planning on buying urs and found something else...
no point in waitinf... if they want it they will buy when u relist
 
I had a lot of success with pet products and RV products as well. You have to watch your prices daily and keep up with amount in stock.
 
Hey lewy2k. I don't understand how having another account is why he was banned. eBay clearly says on their website, "Users may have multiple accounts on eBay. We understand that there are various reasons why someone would choose to have more than one account." So there must have been another reason right?
 
does this work both ways? if you have good ebay supplier with stock can you use that
 
By the way guys, here's an update, I got 3 sales total this month. And I've just listed 1 kind of item with no effort yet. Once my limits get higher, I will add more and more and eventually use some of the money to pay for an eBay store. But I have a HUGE problem. It will take time to be free from the 21 day money hold eBay/paypal places on new accounts and I can only sell 5 items a month, which is crazy. Hopefully things get better as my 2nd account ages. But, I really can't make money now, with how eBay places restrictions on new accounts.

same happened to me BUT,
paypal said 21 days for payment.

but after the person left me a positive review... they gave me access to the money. so took basically 3 days. (3 days to get the review)

after i got access to the money took another few days to actually get the money in my account... paypal to my bank...

so keep in contact with your buyers.. ask if everything was alright or whatever... if u get positive feedback u can get money faster

I started this program a month ago, and finally got a sales today. I was expecting a $7 after the fee, but I DIDN"T EXPECT THAT AMAZON CHARGE ME A 6.25% ON STATE TAX!!! I ended up earning $1, and the product cost is $50, I'm risking $50 for that. Dxmn!

OP DIDN"T MENTION! The tax started on Feb and this thread was on January.

How am I suppose to add the 6.25% Should I add accordingly to the location?
 
When a cumstomer doesn't provide his tel number,what should I do,as we know amazon asks a telephone to ship items.thanks very much
 
What about using another website instead of amazon ? have you ever tried ?

Average sales tax for the US is about 8 percent. Just take that 8 percent into consideration with your margins and you'll be fine. Just multiply the price by 1.08 and then add another 5-10 dollars depending on how much you want to make. Also, don't blame the OP for not mentioning the sales tax, it should be well known that Amazon charges sales tax, and even still, do your research or at least go to the checkout page yourself for the item and see the TOTAL price.

My April month until now... I have been waiting 10 days during this month to get my limits higher, some days ago they put the limit higher and now I am ready to sell more, to accomplish this values I just spent probably 1 day researching and listing the items and then sells come without doing anything.
