[METHOD] $60 a day with Twitter (and Amazon)

With all the rage being around Instagram, I feel like a lot of internet marketers have lost some love for Twitter - so I'm here today to share a small method that I've been using the past few months. Like the usual this method isn't super easy, but it's definitely one of the easier ones out there and has the potential to put extra cash in your pocket.

In Short:
Basically, all this method involves is running a competition online to collect peoples emails which you can then use to send an offer later on. You take an item from Amazon, giveaway one of those items (or not) and then send an email to the rest of the contestants saying they didn't win but can buy the item via Amazon.

This not only builds a solid email list, but you can also target specific hashtags like #Horses and promote something like a saddle.

Step 1:
You're going to want to find some hosting, I personally enjoy HostGator.
Non Referral Link

Step 2:
Next you're going to want to setup a simple landing page with a picture of the item you are giving away, find an item from the Amazon store, grab the affiliate link and picture (if you don't have an amazon affiliate account, signup for one it's super easy and they basically accept everyone).

Setup a contest website, which asks for users Email and Name to enter.

Step 3:
Next you want to use a tool like MassPlanner to schedule posts under hashtags like #Contest #Giveaway (or if you want to target specific niches use those hashtags). Pretty much make a nice looking image in photoshop with a picture of the item you are giving away and then in big letters "ENTER NOW TO WIN" (or something like that :D)

Step 4:
Once you have these posts auto scheduled you'll start seeing traffic to your website with hundreds of Emails and Users joining up on your mailing list. Once you have around 100-400 people I usually end the contest and send them an email with an offer "Sorry you didn't win *item*, if you are interested in buying *item* please visit our Amazon listing".

I've been doing this for a long time now and have several well-established mailing lists that I keep re sending offers to. The users are pretty cold to start off with, but over time you'll start to see more and more conversions as you refine the process more and find better hashtags to target. This method also works with Instagram!
Do you have any active list in fashion/beauty niche ? If yes, please PM me. I have got a very good product

Can you please tell us how many subscribers or followers do we need to get any results?

Thanks.

Why don't use Clickbank but with "real" giveaways.
They are some that offer a free item (buyer only pay delivery cost) and then the seller email the buyer with a paid subscription offer and then give you a fee for it.
I made 2 sales in a day with only few twits and fb posts (I was not aggressive because I had not much hope in it but I was wrong)

You can use https://www.rafflecopter.com/ so you don't have to purchase auto responder , it's free but limited and it lets you keep emails on free end so you could upload 500 at a time to your gmail acocunt You could also use blogger as a lead page if your broke. This is easy to do on a shoe string budget

Couldn't you essentially just send them to CPA email submits for giveaway's lilke iphone's or xbox's? Seems like something that has been beaten to death for many years. I like the idea of collecting emails though, pretty smart.

Thanks all for the interest in the method, with any methods there is TONS of spins that you could apply. I've seen heaps of suggestions for Clickbank, which I think could really work aswell.

Sadly my REF link was removed, it's strange how I see REF links all the time in Money Making section and mine gets removed, oh well enjoy this method and use it while it lasts!

Better read the forum rules buddy ;)

So you had a winner and gave them the product?
If so, I don't have a problem with that.

It isn't anything new but competitions work well. Good Luck with it.

Yeah, I'd usually give people the product as I actually sell my own Amazon products I'm making around 150% per product.

How many twitter accounts do you use? Do you buy them? I want to know how much should I spend to run this project.

I think that Amazon will ban you for not having a legit website after your first sale.

I use around 10 for this method.

Come across this similar before, good way to scale up emails

I think that Amazon will ban you for not having a legit website after your first sale.

This would be my concern. I have an established Amazon account and sell directly through the social media links provided and once in awhile through my website but my understanding is that new accounts are accepted and then after the first sale they review the site for TOS violations, content, etc.. and they will revoke the account and the account owner will not get their earnings. You can avoid it by building up a site that Amazon will accept -- this is probably a good idea because then it won't be obvious that you are mailing aff links which is prohibited by Amazon TOS (again this is my interpretation/understanding of their TOS). If I do this I would have a nice theme, quality content and ensure all my aff link follow the TOS to a T in anticipation of the review after the first sale. Just my $0.02

I also wonder the volume of tweets/accounts that you need to have. I have a couponing/bargain account with 3k followers that is fairly active so I could test it out on there and hopefully scale it up.

Thanks for the idea.. with a twist it may be a good way for me to monetize this Twitter account I have a bit better. Nice share.

Thanks for all the kind words and concerns;

if anyone is interested in discussing this further feel free to add me on my Skype: SkyDoesMinecraft1221

I was going to say this; Fake giveaway could get your amazon account banned. But this is a new twist and one can try it with clickbank.

I did something similar at one point. Spamming links to your site through Twitter is a good idea.

What I did:

I had an e-commerce store on let's say "pink panties".

One section was a monthly giveaway. Every month I gave away a "pink panty". Visitors subscribed to my newsletter/future spam list in exchange for an entry into the monthly drawing.

The landing page was an email optin but a lot more. It drew them into clicking on the buttons to learn more about the product that was being given away.

If I was doing this with Amazon I would have a big button under the option form to redirect them to amazon to learn about the pink panty of the month, where they get the cookie dumped on them. Now you are hoping that they sign up for your spam list, and you are getting a cookie placed on them where they may end up impulse buying (think girls) on your cookie. Plus they may browse your store and buy something.

Every month/week/whatever you mail your spam list to tell them about another panty you are giving away.

This is easy to do while complying with Amazon as you aren't sending affiliate links through email/socials. You are directing people to your site where they may end up going to amazon to learn more about the product.

I know this works way better on females, and you can get very creative with your giveaways. Just ask a younger lady what is "hot" right now and start pimping it.

I have no idea how those free Xbox and crap cpa offers still convert. Those advertisers have zero creativity.
