With all the rage being around Instagram, I feel like a lot of internet marketers have lost some love for Twitter - so I'm here today to share a small method that I've been using the past few months. Like the usual this method isn't super easy, but it's definitely one of the easier ones out there and has the potential to put extra cash in your pocket.

In Short:
Basically, all this method involves is running a competition online to collect peoples emails which you can then use to send an offer later on. You take an item from Amazon, giveaway one of those items (or not) and then send an email to the rest of the contestants saying they didn't win but can buy the item via Amazon.

This not only builds a solid email list, but you can also target specific hashtags like #Horses and promote something like a saddle.

LINKS

https://mailchimp.com/
http://www.massplanner.com/

Step 1:
You're going to want to find some hosting, I personally enjoy HostGator.
Non Referral Link

Step 2:
Next you're going to want to setup a simple landing page with a picture of the item you are giving away, find an item from the Amazon store, grab the affiliate link and picture (if you don't have an amazon affiliate account, signup for one it's super easy and they basically accept everyone).

Setup a contest website, which asks for users Email and Name to enter.

Step 3:
Next you want to use a tool like MassPlanner to schedule posts under hashtags like #Contest #Giveaway (or if you want to target specific niches use those hashtags). Pretty much make a nice looking image in photoshop with a picture of the item you are giving away and then in big letters "ENTER NOW TO WIN" (or something like that :D)

Step 4:
Once you have these posts auto scheduled you'll start seeing traffic to your website with hundreds of Emails and Users joining up on your mailing list. Once you have around 100-400 people I usually end the contest and send them an email with an offer "Sorry you didn't win *item*, if you are interested in buying *item* please visit our Amazon listing".

I've been doing this for a long time now and have several well-established mailing lists that I keep re sending offers to. The users are pretty cold to start off with, but over time you'll start to see more and more conversions as you refine the process more and find better hashtags to target. This method also works with Instagram!

Good old school method and can be easily automated. For sure this will work but make sure earnings will increase when your list will have good amount of users.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I've learned so much here, and it's time to give back one of my working methods :P

I don't want to ask you how many accounts you are running, that's not important. What I would like to know is how many tweets are you posting per day? How many on average? Do you post x per hour?

Plus, are you just tweeting links? Nothing more? Aren't you following, replying to tweets, etc?

What about twitter? How many followers do I need to have any results?

No one ever catches on that you're not actually giving away anything?

how much email subscribers you need to see some good conv?

Seems like a great method. if i were to buy a premium MassPlanner account, you think i'd get my money back in that month?

Sorry, call me dumbhead, but this method is damn interesting lol, cuz I never used such software, wow, thanks for share!

I saved this, maybe I could try this later.
