META Employee in the House!

Hey Good People,

As the title says, I currently work at META in their Dubai HQ. I lead the Global Data team for MENA and APAC regions.
Delighted to be here. Please let me know if I can help in any capacity, given it is a legal request.

While those services are not as per META's policy, there is no actual law which prohibits selling/renting of ad accounts. We do it as well with our trusted clients but ofcourse those are heavily whitelisted accounts. But in this case the burden of risk is always on the consumer.

Thank you - Currently we are working on integrating Threads with FB Suite 365 and some new updates for the Super app.

My dad owns that building in Dubai, in which META's Dubai HQ is situated in. I head the rent collections team in my dad's company and META has not paid us the rents for the last 6 months.
Is there any way you can help with this ?

Hey, hope you are doing fine and not lieing about your position.

I wanted to ask though.
1) what are you actually doing in your Data department?
2) are you able to affect the FB algorithms (for ads, feeds,...) based on the data you receive?
3) Are you aware of any shady practices your team or company is doing? (You know it is not illegal, but questionable when it comes to common sense)
4) are the algorithms updated by people and further developed or is it more like AI that is self learning based on the data it receives from people?
5) when it comes to AI, are you somehow utilizing it in the company on larger scale (like writing articles in KB, support chat operators, onboarding of employee, automations, etc)?

And one more: where do you see FB / Meta in 10 years? Considering other social platforms, etc...
 
asking for a friend.. what detection vectors facebook uses the most for detecting frau... alter ego accounts?
