smart kid. now even kids knows how to use ai.So that's why my nephew is including more in his reply WhatsApp messages to me! It used to be 1-2 word replies, but he's now sending 2-3 lines... is that why? Because AI is writing for him? :-O
chat gpt is not first mover. there were so many ai available on market but they werent famous.I don't think meta AI will surpass ChatGPT because:
1. Meta AI is garbage. It's comparable to GPT 3.5
2. ChatGPT will always have the first mover's advantage and if ChatGPT continue working on new models, I don't think any generative AI tool will surpass it
Yeah, my bad. Well what I really wanted to say is that chatgpt started an AI revolution much like amazon or facebook. There were e-commerce sites before amazon and social media sites before facebook but facebook and amazon kinda started a revolution in their own spaces. I don't think any AI tool will surpass GPT anytime soonchat gpt is not first mover. there were so many ai available on market but they werent famous.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arms_raceIt's good that there is currently no monopoly. Which I think is it how it should be. It's healthy.

It's a type of war. These are modern military weapons. They take over the world with it. It will cause massive lay-offs and certain specialists will have 0 stuff to do. Might result in mass societal problems, just like any type of large scale military operation.

You don't have an impression that it is a conflict at all, but it is a conflict, but in digital space.
This stuff can be built on a phone, so that vision is missing something.Of course, it's competition. But let's say governments agree to lay down a law/rule and AI_A agrees to it - and becomes more popular. AI_B is going to think they better follow suit and do the same thing. Eventually, what happens is we have competition but within a safe zone.
What if a mad person builds a micro-robot that will go around the streets and do lethal things.
You mean like one person creates Robocop?
Before Person A gets anywhere near being able to do that, larger companies will know about it.
Has a random person ever created a search engine bigger than Google from his bedroom and nobody ever knew about it?
