Messenger for Gambling?

The method you describe is actually leveraging Facebook Messenger to optimize ad spend and bypass some of the limitations of the ad review process. This is a fairly common strategy in some advertising communities, but it does have risks to consider.

I met someone that said he was using Messenger and low key bragging about how well it worked. Anyone else has tried this to confirm. Basically what he’s doing:

  1. Runs FB ads with a m.me Messenger link since according to him conversations aren’t under same review policies as ad review. No external site so who are they gonna ding?
  2. The Messenger link is a subscription link created with 1send. Which the users then get a prompt to subscribe to a Messenger list (this is new to me but learned it’s broadcast list on FB). Immediately after they click the subscribe button, then he shares the external website link.
  3. He said the best part is b/c also now subscribed, in 1send, he just blasts campaigns like SMS. No added costs and w/o going through ad review. Extends his ad spend

I’m tempted to try since the tool is cheap. But wanted to see if anyone else has done it. He says he’s done it with multiple pages and really easy to blast campaigns.
To achieve our goals, we need to carefully consider the advertising channels. Messenger campaigns can quickly reach a large audience at a low cost, but conversion can be a challenge. Meanwhile, campaigns focused on lead generation and website promotion can provide more sustainable results.

I think the conversion rate of this type of form is not high, you have to spend more time taking care of customers via text messages. It is still better to advertise on the web.

advertising on messenger will take more effort than the usual way, I find that there are many risks and it is not as effective as the usual way

I think it will be able to pass Facebook's test to work but it will also take a long time for customer care.

Don't listen to the AI generated answers flocked here to promote signatures, you've got your information right, this is how people bank with nutra offers & fb ads, as for time to answer the messages, they use chatbots that redirect customers to their sales page.

You can try that for gambling and see the results.

Info content => Messenger bots => Sales page.

For Messenger campaigns, you can’t completely avoid spam issues. In many cases, when message metrics appear “cheap,” the spam rate tends to be higher. Therefore, it’s crucial not to focus too much on whether your message metrics are low-cost or not. Instead, pay attention to the conversion results of your campaign — that’s the key factor.

Ad metrics are just one part of the equation; the conversion rate to actual customers is what truly matters for your advertising campaign's success!

This method can help us reach a large audience but does not guarantee the quality of those people. The likelihood of converting them into actual customers is quite low

Messenger groups are just for chatting, if sold in groups it's quite annoying, me too, the cost will be cheaper but it creates a lot of annoyance when messages continuously appear, not good my friend

This is a pretty smart way, I am also often invited to messenger groups through links, the way they advertise in messenger is simple but has a lot of interaction, but this strategy is for those who are really interested, not as widespread as advertising on Facebook, and sometimes makes participants feel uncomfortable, try it, the cost is quite low, the conversion rate is better

not as effective as using a website, customers who text will have a hard time buying

It's true that this method easily bypasses Facebook's censorship, but I find that running ads still brings in more potential customers. Furthermore, checking and responding to customer messages every day also takes a lot of time

If you’re not careful, promotional content broadcast via Messenger could be seen as spam, which could have a detrimental effect on your account.

I think it will not work for gambling ads, and a large amount of spam will appear and it will take you a lot of time to process them.

I still find running conversions gives the best results in the long run. It's a bit more expensive but requires less steps and the results are pretty good.

Mess advertising is not as good as Facebook advertising, you should try it.

This campaign requires your team to always be available to chat on messenger, maximizing the effectiveness of advertising

In this way, the index can be very cheap but the customer really doesn't have good quality.

It's also a very good idea, but there must be someone to chat with customers when they send messages
