Hello,

Just got a message from IG along the lines of "Your account is getting some traffic because of ads or else and to protect you from impersonators we added new information."

I notice no new change.

Anyone familiar with this message?

What message do they add?

They add info about your account. Eg, you can see when the account was created, name changes (after the date they rolled this out), location (which can be turned off.) Pretty much just info about the account to try and lower fake accounts.

Edit: it’s what Dean Snow was talking about, that’s just more info about what’s there.
