Merchanting.

alright so im a teenager in school and everyday i here somebody wanting gum.

so heres my plan:

buy peoples favorite gum
(from what ive gatherd its 5)
there 1.28 a pack.
sell them at school 25. ea
5 sold will be the cost of the pack
and 10 more sold will be a 2.50 profit

the only problem is that how would i get the word out and 2.50 doesnt seem like much profit.

what you guys think i should do diffrently

The school will probably shut you down before you have a chance to make a profit. Their vending machines have a captive market and they don't want your compitition.

I used to keep energy drinks in my locker for myself. My friend would always mooch them off me so eventually I made him start paying. Some teacher saw me and sent me to the office. I managed to avoid a detention because the assistant principal couldn't actually find a rule that covered what I was doing.

They made a new one the next week.

Instead of gums. Go buy some Gatorade and sell $5 a pop in the field (P.E.) classes. Summer is coming and you'll make a ton of money that way (teenagers' standard) as compared to $2.50

lol one time back in highschool i got boxes of fruit rollups from my work for 50cents a box and i sold the fruit rollups a dollar a piece.. I was leaving school each day with like 40 bucks it was great... it lasted for like 2 weeks until I ran out of fruit rollups.
