it seems that merchant banks are really strict especially in the USA. need something outside the USA and Canada.

ALL Pharma and "Herb" accounts must be "offshore". Do not let anyone tell you they can process pharma from a bank within the US. If someone tells you that you can, they are either lie'n or you are being put into an aggregated account and if your found out, you will put on the TMF list. Pharma is especially hard right now and the only banks or providers that still do it are either out of China, Belize, Panama or one other, but I can't remember. There is typically a pretty decent setup fee that goes along with setting up the account also.

I am not sure how "high risk" they go, but give cdg commerce a try. Easier approval and the rates are relatively low as well.

With respects, there is definitely a "High Risk" industry with regard to payment acceptance. Most merchant service companies regard SEO, MLM, Affiliate Programs, all as high risk.

What is High Risk? The risk in ANY credit card processing scenario is related to what they call "chargebacks" or basically customers disputing charges on their credit/debit cards and winning those disputes. This chargeback process is very costly, and lowers the merchant bank's reputation with V/MC.

Think about it this way, if COMPANY A sells a fony product with a lot of hype and has a wild amount of orders, and then purposefully closes its doors the next month the customers then realize its a scam, but COMPANY A has already closed its doors, closed its bank account and cashed out. This leaves the customers with no options to reclaim their money from the merchant, and the merchant bank MUST reimburse all of them. THAT is high risk for the merchant bank. So specific industries and business models are going to have this stigma, even though they may not be scams, they still fit into the category because of history, credit, financial viability, industry, or maybe the underwriter making the decision on approval or decline of the merchant account was just having a bad day!

It sucks, but hey, this is an entire industry designed to service people's fleeting notions of "I Promise to pay".

'high risk' is primarily referred to in the context of intangible products where it can't be proved that the customer actually got what they paid for. Adult, Casino and other businesses like that

this is a big issue, trusting 3rd party processors.. big issue. What is your product Negsz? what has been the reason you have not applied for your own merchant? or rather why you have not been approved? did you have your clients CB on the merchant when he didn't pay?
