Well, more like compile in a format that's concise and complete as opposed some snippets between fluff.

That would save time and give me a better more rounded perspective, in my humble opinion ofc. Its not for everyone and I understand its not for this forum. Ironically learnt my first lesson.

You might be better off, searching on the forum than on YouTube if you want to find solid information.

Yeah, truthfully. Both of these are almost the same. But I guess OP would want to have someone to hold his hand and hold him accountable as well as check in on him how he is doing.

I have nothing against mentorships, but if you are in the business world like I am, you see it literally everywhere and that is where people make their most money unfortunately.
But if it someone legit, go for it.

The latter part - happy to be self accountable and manage with my arms swinging free, but I mentioned it from a perspective of bouncing questions back. You watch a video, it doesn't always work, find out what you're doing wrong, move forward.

Videos are great but offer a convenient way to hide when something doesn't work, potentially the method doesn't work at all.

If only someone had held my hand before I posted a suggestion in the suggestion section.

Trust me, I 100% know where you are coming from. Having someone to guide you can definitely get you on the right path faster. But I guess setting up the process to go about that here is where the issues would lie.

Mentorship is another route for training or coaching. Which is against our TOS 3.3 "promotion of coaching or training services" https://www.blackhatworld.com/help/terms/

We added this years ago as we had too many problems with people pretending to be mentors/coaches/guru's and trainers in the Internet Marketing world, charging a fortune and regurgitating what's already on the forum. The strong argument was always use the search functionality https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-search-blackhatworld.1072844/#post-11580173 and save yourself thousands v's paying a mentor.

More recently @Zwielicht put together this article on finding methods https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-on-finding-methods-for-newbies.1630148/ so if you're looking for inspiration use this as a jumping off point.

It sounds more like you have questions to ask and guidance to seek, which is essentially what the forum is for. Research for yourself, try things out, and don't expect to be spoonfed the answers. This isn't a classroom, and you'll only get one person's view. Ask the forum, and you'll get access to the depth and breadth of some of the greatest minds active in digital marketing today.
