Hello Guys,

I've been lurking here for quite a bit and I'd like to introduce myself
along with request.

I'm working in a small town running camera at a television station for 8 bucks an hour. Sucks. I've got this vision in my head of me making a better living online, and up until the point where I've found these forums, I didn't really believe it was possible.

Let me tell you where I am at, and what my request is.

At the current point, I've accumulated a mere $180 dollars(over the course of 4 month mind you) in my clickbank account, and even this money is currently unwithdrawable. I've tried some PPC with failure from either keyword selection or product selection.

I think I might want to create my own product? Anyway heres my request.

I would like someone to mentor this noob, help me understand what to do, perhaps what I'm doing wrong, and help me begin successfully making money online. In return, I will give you 50% of my monthly earnings once I get to $2000 dollar month.

Cliff notes version:

I'd love to pay someone $1000 of my earned money if you can mentor me to a point where I have made $2000 in a given month.

I'm tired of working this crappy job, and the alternatives in my area are just as bad. Help.

I think u should use the search buttons or ask the right questions rather than asking for a mentor. I was noob and still a noob but i am learning by going through this forum.
 
In my view, the better way is to read and learn every thing on your own.
If not follow what ak2ae said.

If you cannot afford, do one thing. I am doing this since 2 days and mind, I learnt so many tips that any other forum or forum members doesn't share. This is a blackhat forum but the members in this forum are great.

Click each section in the left meaning

First Click Blackhat Seo, open each thread, read it and read the replies also.
Then start another section, possibly White Hat Seo.

I am following one of the tip, If I can make money, I will definitely buy membership in BHW and possibly Blackhat university when it is released.
So better do that, just my opinion.:)

I currently have a few people that work under me. I pay them pretty much what you make now. In exchange, I have them do all the "grunt work."

I would have loved for someone to offer this to me back when I started.

Sounds like a good deal? Yeah, it does to me as well. Only thing is, I have found that it's unimaginably difficult to find people that "walk the walk," so to speak.

Sure, everyone I consider for this will tell me for hours (if I let them) how they will work hard, want to learn the ropes, want to make a better life for themselves, etc. Some are pretty damn convincing.

After the first 30 to 45 days, it's painfully obvious who is and who isn't cut out for this.

I have two people that constantly forget to pick up their weekly pay from me because they're banking $1k+ per week from their own efforts they put together learning from me. And then there are the others that are walking into my office at 9am on Friday morning looking for their check - or worse, asking for an advance. Those are the ones I look in the eye, thank for their time, and tell them its not working out.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying people. But there's a certain mindset that you have to have to succeed and the vast majority of that mindset comes from abandoning your "employee" attitude.

I'm not necessarily saying that you have that, but the reason that so many people are so unwilling to take on the task of "mentoring" is that they have likely been asked by friends and family how they make money and agreed to show someone what they do. 9 times out of 10, these people find out there's actual work involved and they quickly abandon the mentor, after he/she has spent precious hours of their own time trying to teach them.

Get out there and try stuff on your own. Fail. Failure is your biggest teacher. Testing is your second biggest. Once you get into it and learn it for yourself, you're going to be building a much more solid base than if someone simply showed you what they do to make money. Methods come and go, but it's that mindset that separates the success stories from the "also rans" in this game.

By the time you've been hustling online for a bit, you're likely to build up a nice set of contacts and friends that you can start bouncing ideas off of in instant messenger, on the phone, and over beers in the bar (still the best crash course in IM anywhere, IMO :)).

Hope this helps you and anyone else asking for mentorship. People are MUCH more willing to help if you're already "in the trenches."
 
Thanks for the replies. I have been reading various things in this forum on a daily basis since I discovered it. Mind you, I have not tried everything, or probably even half of the stuff in completion.

What I'm having trouble with often is when I hit these brick walls. For instance I'll get into a scenario where I'm suppose to create my own product to market. Have no experience there and don't know where to start. People refer to CPA, and I think if i understand correctly thats when you get paid for a lead? Unsure. What programs have CPA offers? I've only familiarized myself with clickbank, and from the testimonies I read here I get mixed reviews, anything from "99% of clickbank products are trash and wont make money" to fantastic success stories with products.

I did not mean to stir anything up if I did on asking for the mentorship, but as far as seriousness goes... I've been consistently interested for probably a year. Although my interests mostly got me nowhere at first because of all the get-rich-quick schemes, and my inability to part with my money for the most part. Since I have found this forums my interest as transformed into a dire desire. I want to succeed online. I want to succeed financially in LIFE. I don't expect a handout or an ultimatum solution, I realize theres work involved or I'd have bought this newest laptop for my cat.

This is what happens if you try any thing new generally. The advice I can give is, if you are into some thing, research it completely before starting the work.

Networking = Success.
Some may share , some may not share. So better communicate with more people as you can.
To get the best results, you share some good tip and get some good tip, as I'been doing.

Sure , let me mentor you, someone who is too lazy to read the first 3 threads that are STICKIED in the "Making Money" forum. I'm sure that with your dedication, it would be a GREAT investment of my time.

I'm not bashing you for asking for help, that's fine ...I'm even guilty of asking for a "mentor"... but no one answered... why? Because they knew just like I do now, that the answers are in this place, all you have to do is not be lazy.

DO IT. Don't be freaking lazy. I just told you how to make around $10-20 a day. But will you do it? Will you take my mentorship? No. You won't you will sit there and wait for someone to post the "magic method" that will make you money by converting oxygen into carbon-dioxide.

Guess what? Contrary to Guru Belief, it doesnt work that way.

Sorry for the rant, but when I posted this thread, a good kick in the pants is what I needed. Pick a method provided here, stick with it for a month, 2 months, 3 months, twist it, change it, make it your own.
 
Firstly, please do not tell me what I will and will not do. I am open to any comments and suggestions. But you telling me that I wont do x or wont do y even though you tell me is showing your own short-sightedness. That aside, I appreciate your input and I have read the first three stickies. If you'll re-read my first post you'll find that I've been "lurking". As far as I know, lurking means absorbing information without any contribution. I've been absorbing information. I actually have submitted 5 articles to AC and I'm waiting until I see something happen or not happen before I make a larger effort out of it. I did this before you made your false comments, and My time is limited due to being employed full time, with something that is currently succeeding at making me money.. even if it isn't as much as I would like or need to live on.

To the rest of you, I appreciate your comments and I will take action on them.

Um.... I'm in Iraq right now "full time", so...time limitation isn't really an obstacle for most people, time management is.

That aside, I wasn't flaming you so don't get defensive, I am merely suggesting that you can take an idea from here and RUN with it on your own.
 
I'm pretty sure he's right about the laziness.

There are a billion methods on the forum. Pick 3 and scale up.

Inspiring. I kind of wish I was banking $1000 a week and so happy about it I was forgetting to pick up checks though! haha
 
Sorry if I seemed defensive. I will do some more reading and I suppose I will continue lurking until I find my own success. Hopefully one day I'll be able to flame some people myself and call them lazy simply on the fact that I'll already have an understanding of what they do not.

Now your attitude is starting to annoy me.

First, you say that you've lurked on the forums? Read a lot over the past year? Well, if that were true you'd see that these "Mentor Me" threads pop up all the time and they never...NEVER...end up well for the OP.

If you were truly gluing your eyes to the forums, you'd know better than to start your own stupid thread on the subject unless you're just dense.

Second, while some of the posters here may not have said it the way you wanted to hear it, they all gave you good advice. What? You want a playful pat on the ass along with the password to my idea file? Fuck you. Where else in the world are you going to have the gonads to walk up to someone and ask them to help you make a fucking living?

Third, your attitude sucks. Not only are you begging, you get defensive when people give you advice you don't want to hear. You don't have to be all humble and shit but at least know wtf you're talking about before arguing with someone that does.
 
when im new in bhw i read lot and absorbs information as i can the results total failure coz of information overload.what i can advice to you take it one at a time just study one method at a time and master it.
