Hi all!

It's my first thread here and i wanted to share my journey.

I just started a website which is like 9gag. Also I created a facebook and twitter pages.

Tools i used:
Wordpress -> wp rocket, auto post scheduler, bulk image to post
Domain: 10$
Hosting: 5$ per month

Expenses: 15$
Earning: 0$

I will update my journey as frequent as possible.
I am open to critics and recommendations.

You can work on a plugin that will publish anything posted on 9gag page.

Like if there is something posted on 9gag page, plugin automatically creates a post on your website and publish it .

Do that with other meme pages.

Then you just end up with very low-quality content. Should at least have some sorting.

Not to mention the bandwidth and space required for such a strategy would be high.

Yes you're right. Content should be high quality.
 
Based on my experience content should be funny, not high quality.
However an interesting journey, it certainly has a business case.
Today people like three kind of things on social media:
- boobs
- memes
- (no there is actually no 3rd point)

if you're interested you could hire someone to make a bot that would browse 9gags hot/trending pages and reupload the pictures/gifs to your website.
