members have asked, so here are my crypto thoughts

Hey, feeling a bit nervous about this. After a few posts, I have been messaged to share some of my crypto findings with people.

1) I have only been involved with crypto since the health crisis.

I lost my job as MD of a music agency (for 14 year) in the health crisis and had to start again from scratch. I had LOTS of time and NO money! So my goal was to make a living by finding out about opportunities that had little or no cost. So many things I have tried have been a waste of time....but one of two have worked.

2) For my "real job" I do digital marketing. I believe in inbound and SEO and run an agency and it takes time to get really good clients. I have enough now to pay the bills, but also I have some spare time.

3) Do you own research. Anything that I am interested in comes with very little real life experience. DO NOT put any money into anything if you cannot afford it. I have been really focused on air drops that cost nothing to try and get some return in exchange for time and no money.

4) Sometimes I do things because I think they are cool or cutting edge or making a statement.

I would love to share my journey.

If an admin gives me the OK in this thread then I will start sharing.

Otherwise I won't because I understand the forum rules.

I am not affiliated with any crypto business - this is where I just want to share what I do, right or wrong and other people can follow and make decisions.

OK - let's start with this one. It is my latest find and I think it is a good option.

It is an airdrop.

To participate you need an email and wallet address.

You can earn more coins before the airdrop by referring other people.

For the sake of transparency I am NOT using my share URL in this forum. I have provided a home page link so I gain NOTHING.

The coin is listed on etherscan [dot] io and this is where I discovered something interesting.

I looked through all of the transactions to date and the owner has done some substantial transfers before the airdrop.

One of the people they transferred the token to cashed in the token on a liquidity exchange on uniswap for ETH. Approx $45 for 2001 tokens.

The goal of the coin seems to be to get it into as many wallets as possible through referrals.

The idea is that the more wallets it is in, the higher the chance of it getting used and the greater the value when it hits the exchange.

If you have access to mailing lists (as I do) you stand a change of building the amount of coins you receive.

Initially they offer 200 DeFi coins for free and then 50 for each referral.

I have used some fairly crude email marketing to my lists to ramp up my token count to 10,050.

The airdrop is at the end of June.

There is no cost to be involved and it is up to you if you want to build your own token count.

My goal is to exceed the 100,000 tokens that have already been sent to people.

Worst case scenario, I am going to take my tokens to the liquidity pool and exchange them for ETH.

Seems like an opportunity.

NOTES

+ I already tried using a robot to do form submission loops, but there is a rest function so you cant keep submitting over and over again.

+ when I got to 500 tokens, I got an email from someone in their team to check if I was human. they gave me a custom URL to use for social media, etc to get referrals.

+ to get the referrals, you have to share your email so use a real email that you don't mind other people knowing.
