[Mega Thread] Instagram's botting limits (to be updated)

I haven't tested the limits in the last 3 months but I've been safely following ~400, unfollowing 400. I usually keep all my client accounts around ~350-400.

I've read that some of you are following 800-1200 a day...which sounds pretty crazy. I haven't followed that many since 1-2 years ago. Surprised you're not getting action blocks.
If your account is old, and if you post content and use it, 800-1200 shouldn't be too bad. I'd say to just avoid over using the account yourself if you're running them on those settings. Also, try giving a day or so of breaks so the account doesn't literally run every day like that. For example if you wanna stop the follow/unfollow for a day or so, focus on liking only.
I've always pushed the settings, but Ive always used somewhat of common sense.
Also, if you start to notice your account gets locked or slows down (sometimes IG will stop you from liking/following people), than thats a good sign to just calm things down, lower the settings, do things manual for a day or so, but I wouldn't panic either.
If your account is good, I think you could run 800-1200 follows, 700+ likes.
Clients accounts are different though. You dont want to push them too hard. Unless you explain to them exactly the pros and cons. And if they are willing to take the chance on running higher settings for the potential benefit of extra followers, than go for it.

I don't think anything can be done about it. Maybe setting a low interval might help (1-2) minutes?
perhaps, I've messed around that.. I have a suggestion though: creating a separate time interval for between automatic module switches. That would solve it 100%, just sayin' :)

these numbers seem astronomical even for my risky venture seeking ass. Are you sure you can run 1200 follows a day??

I want to grow my own personal IG. It's at least 4 years old. What's the maximum settings for F/uF and likes I can do per day? And is there anything else worth exploring, like Viewing stories? And how would that impact my ability to do F/uF/likes?

I’ve been running 290 accounts 9 month ago

1 private proxy - 3 accounts max
1 number phone - 2 accounts max
Follow p/day: 750 - 800
Unfollow p/day: 680 - 690
600 - 825 likes p/day: 650 is good
2 post max p/day
NO DM - NO SPAM comment - NO VIEW HISTORIES
15 hashtag max and 5 banned hashtag

ALL accounts are from 2012 - 2014

I thought the same, but seeing what happen to this account, it was on unfollow action yesterday night and today morning restart to follow, action block after some operations...

as mentioned a while back, a quick turnaround from unfollowing back to following can and likely will cause an action block. Temporary workaround is higher intervals between operation batches on GMT2

What can you say about the maximum daily amount of giving away story views?

Guys, I have question, how add time between follow and unfollow In GMT2.
I utilize the time between follow chunks (20-40 minutes) because @JJJackson still hasn't added a timer for the turnaround process... but thos intervals seem to work fine even when pushing 840/day

I'm limiting my following to 500-700 per day, after getting follow blocks past 700. Data center IP, 1 account per IP, 4-7 years aged.

30 of my 35 accounts got hit with no items scraped two days ago and hasn't changed since. May be a proxy issue, but its very worrying to me after 2 months of operation.

IP issue. Get better proxy

There was an Instagram update where a lot of people were getting follow blocks. I assume Instagram will not lower the botting limits to 200 people/day the same way as Twitter does. Let's keep positive! :)

Hello, I want do some F/U with my company account ( 7 month old, 5000 organic followers without any F/U ). I want a very very safe method, I can't be banned or something. Is it that 100% safe to use instabot.py on my computer( the same ip I use for this account ) with low setting like 200 F/U day ?
Thanks ! :)
