I've had MB business account (US corporation, not individual) for 10+ years and didn't use their network for a few years. I tried to login and my account was deleted which I understand some networks due with no activity. I never received any notice, just account shutdown.
I didn't take it to seriously and re-applied stating that I was previous member. Immediately after application I was given my new affiliate ID & new affiliate manager and instructed that I need to do phone verification. I had no problems with that and within minutes of application I reached out on Skype (following instructions provided by MB) reached out to my new affiliate manager to schedule phone verification. I've done that because I was expecting to leave on trip where I would have 0 phone reception. I was pre-emptive in my attempts to do phone verification. My other option to pre-schedule phone verification was not to wait for MB to reach out to me and to call MB (international call) and I don't really need to spend few cents per minute to call a network, to leave them voicemail. My Skype message was ignored and few days later while I was literally in process of my travel I had an email stating that my affiliate manager has tried to contact me to schedule phone verification. I respond to that email stating that I will be without phone / Internet for next 2 weeks and can do the call when I come back to civilization. After I returned I replied to affiliate manager to announce that I've returned from my trip and would be available for a call and asked when it can be scheduled. With that email still unanswered after 3 days I sent follow up email to check on phone verification call I wanted to schedule. 3 days later I received same template email from this affiliate manager as first contact saying that I missed phone verification call from MB which was never scheduled. I responded to an email short time after saying that I was on another business call when I received this unscheduled phone verification call and said that I would have availability to do call 3 hours later and as expected my email went unanswered. It seems they follow a script, copy paste few emails, call you at random time and if you cannot answer you're ignored and ultimately denied.
I've done CPA for over 20 years and have been an various networks with first earning $0.025 per click in mid 90s. I have never seen such unprofessional onboarding of any customer from any kind of business, CPA or otherwise. The only reason I re-applied to MB because they had an offer that matched traffic that I inherited. There are other networks out there and if I'm disrespected like that I'll rather take my business to elsewhere. In the past I've recommended them to all of my affiliate friends and now I just tell them what happened to me instead and let them make their own decisions.
