Max DMs etc per day? 3 year old twitter account

Hi, I have an old twitter account I setup with twitterfeed which has been simply posting titles/links to my website's updates for the past 3 years, nothing else. The account currently has 17k followers but, I haven't been actively following/unfollowing/dms in years. I now have mass planner and want to ramp things up. What would you say a safe limit would be for following/unfollowing/dms per day please and could I just go right in with large amounts or should I take it slowly? Cheers

The limit used to be around 250 per day but I'm not sure if this has changed now.

I believe the follow limit is 1000 per day. I just follow till I get the limit message.
