Matt Cutts and BlackHat forums

A bunch of Ph.D engineers against millions of blackhatters. We can always find a loophole in the system and the sites ranking can be manipulated unless Google search engine is there and ofcourse its always better to have half of your business in Whitehat and Half in Blackhat.

actually he is right :), if I had a technique that made me lots of money online there is no way I would share it for $9 or even $9K it that technique would make me 50K each month :P

good done Matt!

Now he's right when he says ppl are gullible and looking for magic bullets and he's spot on commenting on some sellers on forums being frauds, OK. The point is, that EVERY software has bugs and loopholes and during a fast development cycle like the google algo has many new ones are likely going to be introduced with each iteration and -far from being concerned about the weak and the naive- his little canned speech is just another way to try curbing the enthusiasm of a lot of folks that will eventually give up before even trying. Having growing, massively larger number of BH specialists (or should I say experimentalists? :P) with the sheer determination of some of the guys on this forum is THEIR BIGGEST NIGHTMARE: hence all this vague numbing crap, once again. I'm sure the concept of "saturation" is not exactly unknown to top-level G employees so they're maybe trying to do preemptive damage control... ;) Fact is: go whitehat and you'll get PEANUTS compared to what you can get blackhat. And I would say this doesn't just apply to the interwebz ;)

I still get pretty irritated whenever I hear him talk... however.. "when someone offers you a way to make a ton of money, why aren't they just using it themselves." Makes quite a bit of sense.

On the other hand, the google spam team really needs to take a look at the front page of almost every google search... there is a tom of crap and hidden ads. :P

Also keep in mind that the fact that good o matt keeps talking about BH stuff means that it must really be giving google grief :P

Nice rant by Matt :) I'm not saying that BH or WH would be better or more profitable, I just think that BH will get harder and harder.

He is right about the last part tho , that goin white hat would be more beneficial . I'v been doin blackhat stuff for some time now and got a little $$ out of it but id rather just make an authority site or more or anything that would keep me for the long run then keep lookin for new techniques and waking up in the morning and all of my shit it gone , flagged or idk what . And i'm not talkin about google rankings only but about anything blackhat with competitors goin around fuckin your shit up

black hat, when it comes to SEO may get harder but not black hat with everything else

I have to say that I disagree with the last part. I mean, that is how dealers work, you pay them, they make you money and they keep a part. If he is talking about the guarantee of being number one in Google, or the total guarantee of make money, it is obvious for any person. It is pretty basic, like almost all the stuff he says.

He is full of bull people get ripped off every day that?s just a fact of life
You can spend years building your white hat site and have no guarantee of it ever ranking for shit
Also at the drop of a pin google can change the rules as they see it, and all your work is now blackhat or someone can spam your nice white hat site and even if it?s just an informational site it will go down.
Google is a marketing company in this for the money, and who is in a position to pay them that cash you with your wordpress domain or a company with a real product or service?
This man is not your friend but one of the world's worst spammers, without us he would need to find a new job
Don't you see This guy is spaming YOU

When someone is selling backlinks, they're saying one of either two things ...

#1
I have no clue how to select a niche, make a money site or properly invest in content. I just know how to backlink and that's it. Use my backlinks at your own discretion because I have no idea what I'm doing beyond making a backlink, otherwise I'd be doing this all for myself.

I've got a slick system here. It works for my own projects really well. I'm pumping out my own projects and promoting them to great success. My system is so slick that I can feed your project into my system and promote yours as well, so I might as well make even a few more bucks, as it is all automated.

Its up to the buyer to figure out which deal you're getting yourself into. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt Cutts is right in that 90% of package sellers fall into category #1.

This says nothing about this forum. In fact, he is just repeating what I already read on here.

Didn't know KFC paid mister Cutts wardrobe though, that part is new. Oh, and the confirmation selling ebooks works, there is that of course. Only need three accounts he says. :D

It's cheaper to go white hat than black hat? Ha ha! Not even close. Unless of course you're buying all of the BS products he's railing against. Then it might be cheaper to go white hat.

Amen to that. I mean after all Google is only worth $37 billion in revenue in 2011 when we all know that the WSO crowd must all be trillionaires. People go black hat because they are tired of wasting money on bogus Adword campaigns.

If Matt Cutts was on BHW, I would rep and thanks his video.

It's pretty obvious that he's targeting WF and some BH forums. Lets face it - 99.9% of the WSO's are really BSO's and are re-hashes of other people's products. I know someone who's well known on WF who actually isn't an internet marketer - his business model is just to re-hash other people's stuff and gets a lot of money for it.

Selling stuff that's rehashed on a forum IS internet marketing. (forum marketing)

He's just not making his money from actually using the methods he sells. Which is how a lot of internet marketers make their money these days.
