Lol. Well, is he lying? How many times have people put together a WSO that is shitty that only takes advantage of the newbs.

At the end of the day, some services will be useful to the IMer and some will NOT. It's up to the IMer to distinguish between the two and make the right decisions.

It's often because of greed and lack of knowledge that people make bad decisions, they want to get into something TOO fast or make it even faster. There is the right place and time for things such as automation, you just have to make sure you don't compromise quality.

Of course we'll always find loopholes, it's what we do. But, on the other hand, we need to use these intelligently, because as he said, it IS transitioning to a more "whiter" marketing internet and eventually people will get tired of having to go back and make fixes because they've been slapped with a penalty.

We need to focus on long term money plans; plans that will survive and build over time.

    -black hat responsibly my friends

Is it wrong that I'm actually starting to like Matt Cutts and agree with what he says?

He is definitely talking about the Warrior Forum first and foremost. He should just go ahead and call them out by name for their BS! LOL

It is generally seen as wrong to agree with dictators.

I usually agree with Matt Cutts these days. The more I learn, the more I agree with him.

You'd rather not believe anyone, He's just defending google's interests to bank more and more and discourage you from spamming. Spam works, whitehat seo works, blackhatseo works. Everything works by the way.

You should beleive in the tests you takes, If you don't test by your own, you're keener to learn nothing. If you want to have online money as your main source of income. You wouldn't like to rely on what people say every now and then.

This is only my point of view, not trying to telling you that you're wrong or right.

Yes, he must be talking about that well-known black hat forum, warriorforum, with their preponderance of what are supposed to be 13370 h4ck4r-sounding names.

It's cheaper to go white hat than black hat? Ha ha! Not even close. Unless of course you're buying all of the BS products he's railing against. Then it might be cheaper to go white hat.

My God, Matt should just come out and Name WF already. While I kind of agree with some of what Matt is saying, this whole "Whitehat" crap being better for the long run is BS. It's ok to be Whitehat if you can bring in sales ny other methods, but you will starve in the mean time waiting for Google to start to rank your site. And most "Whitehat" techniques are "Blackhat" anyway, they're just not as outright blatant.

When I stopped buying services and started doing my own SEO, that's when I started seeing results. I just wish someone told me this 3 years ago. I still buy services from time to time, but only the ones that do exactly what I'm doing myself already to help scale up faster. Just my experience.

I do agree with MC. And if they haven't found you out yet, it is only a matter of time...

Blackhat is short termism. You will probably need to be consistently jumping from one project to the next. Always looking behind your shoulders in case google sneaks up on you.

Whitehat is long and sustainable only if you have the dedication and time. You will probably still need to look over your shoulder, but it won't be google who's on your ass it's the black hatter.
