Hey guys,

Today marks the end of my first week using MassPlanner. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the issue where the bot randomly stops the following action. I'll go to bed and it will be running fine, then wake up and see that it stopped following in the middle of the night even though the follow settings are still active. What is even more frustrating, is when I wake up and try to have the bot start again, I can not get it to run no matter what I do. The settings say active, but the bot isn't actually following anyone. If anyone has any advice on this issue it would be greatly appreciated. I'm following popular users followers as well if that helps.

Thanks

I just sent them an email and am waiting for a response

When you check your dashboard what does it say. Does it have any errors?
A few times I have received a message saying 'exceeded daily limit'.

If you can't get mass planner to work at all its a problem with your computer, mass planners only crashed once for me and restarted on its own within about 10 minutes.

Im using massplanner for almost 2 months, and it crashed 2 times because it said some1 else logged from this account. Other than that, i had 0 problems for facebook and IG (used just 2 weeks for IG)

To answer the above questions:

There is no message on the dashboard that says I've reached the daily amount of followers.

I have multiple accounts running, and some run through the night no problem so it can not be an issue with the computer or Internet as those accounts would also stop following.

In the morning when I try to restart the accounts that have stopped, it says "following users of followers/xxxx" then does nothing and adjusts the time to the next interval.

Do you have "Night Mode" enabled in general settings?

Sounds like MP is not running at certain times, rather than crashing... you would get a crash error notice if that was the case.

Hey dandan,

I have not adjusted the settings, and actually haven't seen "nightmode" as an option. I have the time to run set all day.

People should avoid such threads.

These kind of threads give companies a bad name/reputation. This is unnecessary.

First, CONTACT the support and wait for them to reply, why do you always immediately post "XYZ not working/failing"?

Do you really think there is anyone in this forum who knows the program better than its developers? I don't think so.

They'll ask for your logs and I'm pretty sure that the MP support team will solve your problem. They are beyond amazing and if you can't see anything you're doing wrong, at least give them the chance to reply before opening a thread like this.

Honestly, these kind of posts are more than stupid.

Always contact the support first and wait for them to solve the problem.

Envision, I completely disagree. If someone had the same issue as I am currently experiencing and knows the fix, that is an immediate solution. I'm not trying to bad mouth the company or the product, but I am experiencing an issue. If on one ever posted about issues, it would give consumers a misrepresentation about the product.

That being said, I've contacted support and they are extremely helpful. Overall, I think MassPlanner is an amazing product and is overshadowed by FL for no reason.

Hi,

can you verify if the content campain has a night mode?

The only moment i had problems with MP was when Twitter fail some weeks ago.

Its very important to review all the settings, may be a little bit complex but its a very stable software.

The other reason may be about your internet connection.

When you search for certain topics, this forum ranks up pretty high on google, meaning people will maybe come across threads like "not working/failing" even if it ain't true.

There's no need to ask other people if they're having the same problem, since there can be endless reasons for something not working, so you're always better off contacting the support first. don't always hope for an immediate solution. There's no-one who can help you more than the support team.

believe it or not, such threads give a company a bad rep. you're overlooking that this is a public forum.

I agree with you last sentence tho.

Envision,

I'll delete the thread (if possible) once the issue is solved.

I spoke with Support, and am still having trouble figuring out why the account won't run. Last night the bot was running fine, then when I woke up it showed that it had stopped following at 2am. I now can not get it to start following again on three separate accounts. I'm uploading pictures of all my settings so maybe someone can see something I'm missing. Each account that i'm scraping followers from has 1m+ followers. Account Settings.jpgAccount Settings_2.jpgAccounts Settings_3.PNG thanks for all the help with these issues. I really want to get 100+ accounts up and running, but can't if I can't figure out why they keep stopping.

why did you set that selection rank at 9? since you are running only one task just set it to 10.
also, delete that minimum number of posts at 10, I don't think that makes much of a difference. there are bunch of people who are active on Instagram, but haven't uploaded for a long time or a high amount of pictures.

Maybe your filters are somehow aggressive for that particular followers of that certain user.

try deactivating all those filter and test if you're having the same problems.

I didn't really get your problem, does it follow and then stop following?

& how about the advanced settings on the social profiles tab of every account, what did you input there?

Hey Envisioned,

I'll make the changes you suggested. The main issue i'm currently having is that the bot is randomly not following anyone. The "follower" setting is still Active, but when the action appears "XXX is following," the bot ends up following no one. So when I look at the log, I'll see that it hasn't followed anyone in hours even though the bot still says active and that it is running. On the advanced settings for the individual accounts, I do NOT have nightmode selected and it is at "send a maximum of 0 posts per day"

Thanks for the help dude

you're welcome!

check that out and report back. I'm not having that kind of issues.

Also, with your settings you are following 11-17 people close to an hour, so you may end up not even reaching 450 followings on one day. With the slowest option possible, you'll run 11*45s = around 8 minutes + 48 minutes of a pause in between, so you end up following around 11 people in 56 minutes, which will be aprox 264 people the whole day.
I'd suggest you to review your settings here a bit.

Pause the follow tool, check how many followers that account has trough the Instagram website and start the tool, check back 24 hours later and see how many followers you've gained

i have exactly same issue with this case, still trying to fix it with information from here
