Massive Direct Scrapebox Blast on Brand New Website

Yes, an update would be nice considering all that has happened the last couple of days.

OP,
When I click on the link for the 1056 links it says download is no longer available, Have you taken it down?

Amazing really.

I do the exact opposite of this. I filter out low PR, High OBL lists and actually favour sites that are NOT AA and DO require captcha solve.
Obviously scrape my own lists, make a massive custom comment etc

I get about 5% acceptance, and it does fecking wonders for my site. 400 links a month with PR.
Pr 5 and 6 links I made 18 months ago are still there and Google has given most of the sites I do this to huge increases in PR as well as SERPS (I have 2 PR4 sites less than 18 months old - both went up 1 PR point since 25th April)

Shows there are many ways to skin a cat.

Great thread.

Doing the same (NON-AA and low # OBL) and with success. But my acceptance rate is much lower. About 1%. The biggest culprit after me is still akismet and I would give an arm to evaporate this company.

I hate to be a party pooper but this tactic is a direct path to de-listing.And quick one too!
I've done it on three autoblog sites . Not on the brand new but on a 2 month old sites which had about 800 pages by the time of blasting.I was blasting for a period of four weeks about 800-1200 comments per day with back links to deep pages. I was on page 1 position 5 for the iphone related keyword before I started but when I blasted I lost about 200 positions right off the bat. From there on sites were only loosing rankings - no gain whatsoever untill all of them got delisted. At different times but all of them went off the charts and I don't mean through the top. They fell through the bottom. Right now they are nowhere to be found . Keep in mind,I am not a noob autoblogger.I have quite a few sites that are doing alright and all of them pretty much alike and using the same backbone. So the SB tactic was to blame.
I kept one site which was visually pleasant and removed other ones so before you jump on the crazy idea of getting page#1 with crazy SB blasts think twice.
Someone obviously smoked some crack and decided to experiment with other's sites , suggesting a possibility of getting #1 with soley sb blasts.

IMHO one ought to be very VERY careful with SB and use it for other pusposes related to SEO other then 100-200 k comment blasts

Similar thing happened to me. I had two highly optimized sites in a local big-city niche on page one of Google. Bought a great tool to build backlinks, and it worked awesomely. But within two hours of implementation, my Google position 6 website fell to position 94. Yes, in two hours.

It proved to me that the tool was effective, and that Google watches activity on page one sites closely.

I was in the tank for two weeks, and then popped back up to page one (position 8, I think). Solid, fundamental SEO is what's working right now.

Hy.

I think I saw this thread before but do not have the time to read it out all and now it jump again.

So before start to read it all since I think I will get some really good info here is my experience.

I got an offline business website that is almost a year old with around 7000 pages.

I target an 800k local search keyword as a main kw and around 9000 secondary kw with different number of search.
As I said this is an offline business website so I do not target profit from ads or affiliate, I target clients that make a call and order a translation service.

Now I start the SEO of this website with big amount of SB blast. I also made a few social bookmark and directory submission but this represent like 10% of my links.
The most of them represent SB blasts.

In the first 5 month I get to the second page for the main kw after this I try to stop the blasts for like 3 month to see the difference and also I got a little scared by the panda update and the reason my backlinks in webmaster tools drop from 200.000 to 10.000.

After I stop the blasts and get more a white hat seo technique the site drop form 2 page to 29-39 and stay there for like 2-3 month.

Then I decide to start the blast again and after 2 month my website get to page 5 and in the next month get to page 3 and then the penguin update come and get me on 11 place in one day and since there I dance between 9 and 13 here I'm talkin about position not pages.

All the blast was made directly to the website the list have all kind of OBL and PR.
The only thing that matter I think it was that like 70% of the links was build to the 7000 inner pages with long tail kw that have my main kw in them.

For 80% of my secondary kw I rank on 1 place and for the rest of 18% I rank on 1 page. For the rest of 2% I have low result but those have almost the same number of search like my main kw and the completion is higher and on the first pages are website older then mine.

So the idea is that it is possible and it works but you must have a constant blast and when I say constant i mean like months not weeks or days and the anchor diversity also have an important role do to the latest updates.

Since last google updates I wouldn't recommend doing massive blasts. I've become very picky about my links and works very well.
I'm trying this kind of blasts on web 2.0s only with mixed results.

Hey All,

Been a while since I got on to this thread. Sorry! Been stacked busy with work.

So an update on how to use massive blasts with Scrapebox. The old way of just blasting the shit out of a site doesn't work anymore. But Scrapebox can still be a very effective tool in your SEO tool box. The way to use it now is for second and third tier links. Now I recommend building quality backlinks directly to your site. Social media, blog and article posts, Wiki's, etc. Make sure you control the content on these pages. Also mix up the anchor text on these pages. Use your domain, here, click here, etc for between 50-70% of your back links. The rest use the keywords that you are targeting. Then on your second tier, you can begin to mix in Scrapebox links. These are great in boosting your the value of your first tier backlinks. Third tier and on you can get crazier and crazier. I've gone as far as 10 tier deep with excellent results. Essentially you are trying to funnel 'link juice' up to your money site.

I'll check back later to answer questions.

Thanks for the post ija61. You are definitely right that keyword diversity is HUGE. Also you mentioned a very good point about being consistent. Google has a link graph that measures link velocity. Essentially this is the volume of links over time. If Google sees a 100,000 backlinks from low value sites in one day, they know that it's probably manufactured. But if you build links over several months at the same velocity, Google values this more.
