Hello,

I would like to have you your advice on the mass following question :

I have twitter accounts that have been followed and unfollowed thousands of account with Tweetadder. Now Tweetadder is not working anymore I have jump to a new tool which does not enable to import all the accounts that has been unfollowed. I have stopped doing mass follow/unfollow with those account for 6 months.

My question : do you think it is risky to do again mass follow with those account since I am going to follow again people I have unfollow 6 month ago ?

Thanks in advance for you help

Tom

Tom,

I think you'd be safe but, as always, it's best to start slow. If you have, for example, 100 accounts start with 10 of them. Follow and unfollow conservatively for a week or two, then (if none get suspended) push a little futher. If that works, start a new batch of that original 100 (maybe 25 this time) and so on. Your best bet to protect the accounts is to go slow and don't try anything new with ALL of them at once.

I work with 700+ accounts, all of which have 400-5000 followers. When I want to be aggressive, I use 4-5 to see what the limits are like. If they survive, I get some other accounts in on the action.

Also, if you're working with a small number of accounts make sure they are email verified -- it really, really improves the liklihood you will NOT get suspended and if/when they do get suspended you have a much easier time getting them unsuspended.

I started with 20 twitter accounts. Used 10 for pretty heavy following, 10 for slow, drip fed.

First 10 got suspended within 48hrs

Second set of 10 (drip fed) ive been babying for 2 weeks now. I took 2 days off from following and just picked up today, followed 50 on each and half got banned...can you believe that? such BS..
