If you want to send out 500,000 or whatever, just open more hosting accounts at $3 a month
 
Powermta is best smtp server software available in market , mailchimp also use powermta , you can choose any front end script as per your requirement
 
I had tried in the past to use vps as mail sender but as I was (and still am :p) server-newbie I failed miserably and I was banned from a couple of vps providers. After that I tried 3stepblaster and it is working fine so far.

Does anyone has gather a list of mass email sending services (free/paid)?

To be successful need to maintain good combination good practices on both ends. Thanks for info.

Shared hosting could help you..choose any reputed share hosting provider, they allow to send 500 mails per day but they could suspend your account if receive lots of complaints
 
Someone show me MaxBulk Mailer, I just start using it, I think it is good as well..... Also AMS is one of the best mailer around.... but getting good SMTP is my own prob...

I use mail chimp. They have an easy user interface although most of their support is by email. They do have limited chat support.

mailchimp is good for legit mailers. you cant spam with mailchimp, they will suspend your account without inform you so if you want spamming then you have to configure your own server
 
I am working on a new product which is almost at the end of development for the first release. It has all those features which you guys ever wanted. Extended features for bulk mailers have also been integrated e.g Multi MTA, MTA Rotator, Domains Masking and Rotator, Mask remote domains, IPs Rotator, Geo Stats, PMTA Integration, Adknowledge Integration, Admarket Integration, PMTA bounce processor directly from accounting files, Split Tests, Advanced Tracking System, Multiple Sender IDs, Sender Score and Reputation Check meter, Scheduled sending, send multiple campaigns to multiple lists using Multi MTAs with multiple domains masked in one shot and a lot more. I've made a tool which is creating and loging into aol accounts (from browser) and sending 10 emails then switch accounts. 1 Thread sends 10 emails per minute, I use 100 threads so it's 1k link per minute. Not so bad. I've made some tests and even gmail is reciving this emails good (I even tested it with Viagra keyword in title). It has some bugs, just need some time to finish it :)
