You can send 500 emails a day... but gmail ban you too.

I have been using Atomic Mail Sender which is nice.. also I have used Interspire. It's badass too.. I'm still using both for different tasks.

If I would be involved in the email-business I would use

phplist (http://www.phplist.com/ "phplist is the world's most popular open source email campaign manager")
some .info domains (must point to your ip, otherwise no inboxing)
1 cheap VPS

If I get a ban, I would move on.

I have used PHPList, but I don't think it's very good. Also .info domain's are not good as well.. I found out that somehow people don't want to click on .info domains very much.
I have had better success with .org and .com domains.

mailchimp has always banned my. i try put offers.. they ask millions of questions and then they ban.

yep yep, but mailchimp bans and i don't want to invest money to this mass emails.
and port25 powermta seems to be paid thing??..

I use now send blaster 2 and after I send the first 200 mail, I delete that lists and upload new ones and send another 200 and so on ...
I did send and 1k mails per days this way and it was working for me ... but after 30 days ?????

I agree - With lists under 5000 this is the best desktop soluton I've found.
Set up properly it works very well.

The reason I set to 5000 max is because I use it with Cpanel email addresses and above that you risk your host banning you, but 5000 spread out over 24 or 48 (between 100 and 200 per hour) hours works fine for me.

If you want to send out 500,000 or whatever, just open more hosting accounts at $3 a month

If you've got a legit mailing list of 5000 names and this doesn't pay for itself ten times over- you're doing something very wrong.
