No – it is not possible to send mass direct messages on Facebook freely without risk. Facebook has a very strict anti-spam system, and if violated, your personal account, fanpage or even advertising account can be:

Restricted from sending messages

Temporary or permanent Messenger block

Flag as spam → affects the reputation of the account/page

Locked or reduced distribution (shadow ban)

There is no such thing as sending mass messages without being banned. It will be banned immediately if you send too many messages at once. Facebook will send you a warning, so be careful even when using support software.
