Fuckin-A, it's worth the time. Gonzo hit the nail on the proverbial fucking head here guys. Re-Read his post from above. I'm gonna tell you something that a lot of people wouldn't have the balls to tell you, but here goes...
I spent well over 15k over three years before the light bulb went off in my stupid little brain. You name it: Mi*ke Lit*man's $6000 coaching program Ma*tt Bac*ak's IMI ($5800) 3-day workshop (I was in the St Patrick's day, 2006 class), and after the credit cards got maxed out, I spent what little money I had on all those stupid little fucking e-books promising you a fortune with adsense and all the other bullshit out there. Then, after over two years into trying to 'make it' online, I, like so many others here (whether they'll admit it or not), started watching every fucking free thing that Frank Kern put out, but I didn't buy Ma*ss Con*trol because I didn't have the cash.
So I eventually found this place and got it for fr*ee
And then after I went through the course, I went back (I kept every one of his emails in a folder) and looked at....drum roll please...HOW HE WAS MARKETING TO ME.
This was huge.
So instead of just hitting the 'delete' button on all the emails I got from every fucking wannabe Internet Marketing 'guru' on the planet, I started keeping them and putting them in separate folders...and studying...you guessed it...HOW THEY WERE MARKETING TO ME.
How many days apart did their emails come? What emotional triggers were they trying to pull do get me to buy? etc, etc.
It was only after I discovered that I had to actually DO SHIT THAT I DIDN'T REALLY FUCKING WANT TO DO, and GIVE IT SOME ACTUAL FUCKING TIME TO WORK that I figured out how to make my first online sale.
I did my first mini-launch of a $39.00 info product 26 days after I got MC and PLF from here and made 900 bucks in one day. (It was from using the swipe files from the MC course called the F*our D*ay C*ash M*achi*ne) That was all it took for me. I've spent every fucking day since thinking like a marketer.
Since then, I've done my own successful full-blown product launch (Courtesy of the stuff I got here from J*eff*Wa*lker's P*L*F and F*rank*Ke*rn's Ma*ss Co*ntr*ol), and I now have a high four-figure monthly income from recurring sales of my core training for a digital product that includes downloadable videos and a membership site (Thank you to whoever uploaded R*yan De*iss's 30*d*ays*t*o*10*k stuff) and I am on track to FINALLY do six-figures a year online - and this is all from just ONE site.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to have four or five of those, but at this point I don't have any employees, so I have to fucking do EVERYTHING, and shit takes longer to do when you're on your own, but I'll get there eventually.
And here's the bitch of it, fellas: Now that I can afford to buy the stuff that people are launching, I don't even need to. Fucking weird how that works - if I would've just DID THE SHIT I DIDN'T WANT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE, like actually taking the fucking time to build a website, learn adwords, etc, (Just like Ma*tt Ba*cak told me to) I would've saved thousands of dollars and a few years of frustration, fights with the wife, and all the personal bullshit that goes along with that.
Anyway, just thought you all would like to know that YOU ACTUALLY CAN set your shit up once, throw up some content every week or so and get fucking paid while you sleep, if you bust your fucking ass on the front end and DON'T FUCKING QUIT TILL YOU GET WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!!!
Did it come with a ton of fucking headaches? Fuck yes. Learning how to write: sales copy, email copy, headlines...setting up: website hosting, web page design, squeeze pages, reverse squeeze pages, autoresponders, tracking tools...marketing: adwords, cpm ads, link exchanges, banner ads, joint ventures, dealing with click*bank (at first) then the fucking merchant account and internet gateway...learning to sell: psychology, persuasion, entering the conversation that's already in your prospect's mind, purchasing trends and behavior, membership mentality, ascension, belonging, desperation...FUCK, this is making me tired! And if I knew everything I was going to have to go through when I started I might never have gotten off the ground - but fuck it, you either do it or you don't. How bad do you want it? It's like anything else: you get out of it what you put into it.
Was it worth it? FUCK YES it was worth it. And I'm still WORKING A FULL TIME JOB, but only because they pay me decent, I do what the fuck I want (I'm typing this at work right now), I'm pretty fucking good at what I do (I fix trucks) and the owners are like a second family to me.
But by getting shit done online - and doing it consistently - I got my wife out of her job and now she's at home with the kids full time. Health insurance is paid, paid off my car (hers is next), the credit cards and the $7,000 loan I had for a well that had to be put in at my house when the old one went bad. Do you know how fucking good it feels to go to the fucking mall and pretty much get whatever the fuck you want? If you don't let me tell you - it feels pretty fucking good.
I mean, I'm practically fucking retarded and I got this far. I think that's why I say 'fuck' a lot. All that shit I wrote about having to do up there? I fucking hated every minute of it, and I did it anyway. But I might have never even gotten this far if it wasn't for this place giving me a 'hand up'. So thanks a lot, fellas. I mean it.
Thanks for the space to put this up, and I'll find a way to pay it forward here somehow. L8r
P.S. If any of you are or were in the situation I am in (wanting to do more sites, expand, etc) and you have actually hired employees and/or outsourced a lot of the bullshit work (setting up fucking adwords campaigns...I fucking HATE IT!!!!), could you let me know of your experiences (good and bad) or what you did or are currently doing? I've done a shitload of work to get where I am and I don't wanna fuck it up. Thx
