Marketing is a born skill

In the time it takes to argue the point of the OP a person could have taken action to make more money.

Question: is it more important to be right or make money? (learned that from world class trader) :)

I am a huge fan of "Think & Grow Rich", it has changed my life from the age of 17 (when my father gave it to me). Thank God he did, it changed my life forever. Up to that point I was told I wouldnt be successful at anything because I didnt have what it takes. Well that was a load of crap, you dont need to be born with a specific set of skills to be successful but you do need to have the desire to succeed. I tell my children EVERY DAY that they can do anything they want to do but they need to be willing to put oin the work.

For those of you that dont have the book, go and get it. For those that already have it reread it over and over and over again. I read it once a year, at least!

Whether you think you can or you think you cant you're RIGHT!!!

I think I understand what the OP means, it's just poorly worded.

Myself for instance, I feel like I was born to be a marketer, I was always outgoing and thrifty and making money was always easy for me, when I discovered marketing it clicked instantly. So i see where he's coming from, but people who just get into it and start learning can easily become better than someone like myself or perhaps the OP because they work harder.

So in laymans terms some people are born with a marketing sense but that doesn't make them destined to be successful, it just gives them a jumpstart.

Yeah I believe some people are just naturally geared toward being a marketer/entrepreneur/hustler while others have to work harder at it to gain success.

Then again, some people are simply too dumb to be successful. No matter how hard they try and how much hey work they will never pass that invisible line. It's just not in their nature. You may argue with me on this, but trust me I've seen lots of people both online and offline and they just don't have it. They will say that they are willing to put in the hard work, cope with the stress, do whatever it takes, etc. Then, they will start to cry at first bruise and stop. Or even worse, jump from one "quick, easy, super powerful" technique to the next. Getting rich over night is possible. Only thing is, that night must follow about 10 years of hard work :)

if I was selling crack in ten different cities, then the feds tighten up the interstates so I cant transport, then I start selling crack, heroin, weed, and meth in just one city, so I could still make the same money.

I finally understand! :D
