Marketing, whether online or offline is a skill that some are born with and some are'nt. You either got it or you don't. I decided to write this post, because alot of people come on here and ask elementary questions about marketing. When I was in kindergarden I was selling crayons for lunch milk. I was a born marketer. If you ask any REAL marketer on here, they will tell you, there is not a day we make less than $100 (unless we choose not to). When you come to bhw and ask different questions on how to start making money, you are already asking the wrong question. "What is the right question?" you may ask..... Ahh my friend, thats the catch. Once you figure out the right question, you will no longer need the answer
. Not to mention that most people on here worked very hard to get where they are, and had to learn things on their own. They didnt do all of that work to just give the answer to everyone who asks..... But if you dont know, you will one day see how we feel.
Now I said that marketing is a skill that you either have or you dont, so that means that you will never be a marketer right? NO! Thats not what I'm saying at all. Mechanics are'nt born as mechanics, but they learn. And the same goes for any other skill. If you work hard enough towards your goals, and never give up, you will indeed become a great marketer.
Heres a tip though. With all of the competition out there among many other factors, marketing is getting harder and harder, so if you really want to be a marketer, you must 100% commit to it, and be able to adapt in order to survive. For instance, I was marketing accross all 50 states in one category on cl and making over $100 a day, until cl decided to start geo ghosting. Thats cool, now I market in one city (just in about 10 categories) and still make over $100 a day. Thats just like saying, if I was selling crack in ten different cities, then the feds tighten up the interstates so I cant transport, then I start selling crack, heroin, weed, and meth in just one city, so I could still make the same money.
Anyways, heres a small list of things to remember when marketing:
1: Never give up
2: Set your goals high, and reach them
3: Dont take no for an answer
4: You are in control because you have what others NEED!
5: Reach out to the maximum # of people each day
6: Be ready and willing to adapt
7: Keep your head up
8: Always remember where you came from and how you started
9: Have self confidence
