Manual Penalty, should I continue?

If you really care about the domain because it's a brand domain or it holds some significance to you, then you can try to work with it and get the penalty removed. If you don't care about it, then it's probably best to move on.

Is there any chance of getting top ranking again by building more links? As i did a double redirect and my money site is on 2,3,and 4th pages for keywords i am targeting. Targeting different keywords from different pages. It's been 3+ months since i redirect the site after getting manual penalty.

Just for the record guys abyssal_miss was referring to the free version of Domain Hunter Gatherer which does not include any free access to premium stats where the Pro version does. DHG Pro comes with an allowance to check the Moz and Majestic stats of 50k domains without any extra cost.

The alternatives to DHG Free all cost upwards of $17, are rarely maintained and do not include anything that DHG Free doesn't, in fact they have less options and do not allow for checking of as many types of stats. The paid versions of DHG add a huge amount of functionality. I could say more about it but I'll leave it there for now.

Believe it or not, but I got my site reconsidered 2 times! So if you really have put a lot of work into the site you should try to get it reconsidered, the most important thing is to write a nice message, explaining what happened and what you've done.

Many get a successful recon request but getting the site ranked top 5 or even top 10 ever again would be nearly impossibel!

Sucks to hear that you got hit dude, just restart on something else would be my advice!
