Manual Follow/Unfollow Question

Hey guys, seeing that manual being the only way going forward, I had a very specific query directed to those who've been growing IG accounts manually.

I'm in a small target niche with a limited amount of people from my country. While automating, most of the bots could keep a track of all the accounts it had followed/unfollowed previously and you could easily avoid following those same accounts repeatedly again (with the correct options enabled in settings) and always be assured that new accounts were being followed without annoying anyone.

I'd like to know if anyone has been able to tackle the above said problem while doing manual F/U actions so as to avoid following people you previously did follow, and in doing so making it obvious to them why you followed them in the first place. Thanks in advance!

I dont think that you could solve that specific issue just with 100% hand managed instagram accounts
I think you would need a software - But then again it s just semi-manually
 
Doing that manually is not a good idea, not really worth the invested time.
 
Ya it's going to take a lot of frequent scraping and running them against multiple lists.
Or you could just manual F/UF until your account starts gaining followers organically.

When does your acc start growing organically?
 
You'd make more money looking for coins that have fallen down your couch - and you'll still get flagged for spam.

If youre saying by that that growing an instagram account is not profitable i would disagree :D

If you manage 30-120 accounts manually on real devices with a 4G connection on each device you will be safe. No bans at all. (Yes Action blocks but there are ways around that)

Now youre thinking "how the f should you be able to manage 120 accounts by hand?"
But trust me, you can, if you want to. 120 accounts on 20k followers each are my goal till the end of 2020
The journey will start in a couple weeks tho

In my eyes there s still money to be made :)

To solve that Even doing manually you need to have a software that blacklists users you already followed.

Sure, growing IG can still be profitable but I really don't see you making money doing f/uf by hand even if you did somehow not get banned. You'd get a better return flipping burgers which would also be a hell of a lot less boring.

Of course, you can do as you like I was merely offering a suggestion. I look forward to your journey but you'd need to publically take an account from 0 to 20k actual people in a reasonable time for it to change my mind.

On your original question tracking who to f/uf manually seems like a massive headache. Of the top of my head you either split each account into different niches so you're targetting different followers (you'd still get some overlap but not enough to matter) or you need to scrape the lists and then manually go through them.

The act of manually navigating to different accounts by hand is going to make the whole process 10x slower though. If I was going to do it I'd just go into different niches.

Maybe we just value our time differently. If I was spending my time doing this manually I guarantee I'd be flagged quickly.

Yes I thought as much. The only problem in my case is I just have one account in a specific niche with a very limited local demographic and because of that there is a lot of overlap in the accounts I keep following repeatedly

How many Accounts do you manage per proxy/4G connection and device/emulator instance?
I plan to manage 2-3 accounts per phone on a 30GB 4G connection each phone for 20€/month
 
Keeping track of that manually is literally crazy.

You're gonna need a software to first export all followers of a certain account, then go one by one following the people on the list.
 
Well I follow manually and then unfollow with an automation I wrote.
I get the follow list from the account data in IG account settings.

Or write a script that marks them and use your PC on a mobile emulator.

Also I mostly bot , I just do it manually if I'm looking for certain genders(takes about 10 mins per Account each day ) . Manual gives way better engagement than botting.we have va'a so my time isnt wasted(they usually suck at botting)

You won't be flagged I'd you do it correctly. I only got blocked once and that's because I followed way too many people in a hour. Your right though it's a huge headache even with a script. You forgot your thumbs will cramp if you do it on a phone too.

Why do you think manual gives you better engagement? Unless you're manually through profiles to follow in which case this sounds like an even worse idea to me.

If you're not getting flagged doing this I honestly don't think you'll cover your electricity bill with the slow rate of growth you must be getting.

I don't know it's just what I noticed and what other people say(reason why i tried) .

Slow rate? It's like 75-150 compared to 40-80 with botting and they not nearly as good as manual work. You can't follow by gender(females atlease) good, like you can manually.

I make enough profit off manual work. I also noticed you will stop f/u sooner because your engagement is way better. So technically it's less work and headache.


Although if we are comparing to a private bot and manual work , it's probably not worth the difference unless your trying to Target by gender.

Most of us can't script/know coders/afford it. So this is not the case for most.

I do it manually for my accounts but its tough to F/UF all day multiple accounts plus posting content multiple times a day in multiple accounts + job + family + gym :/
