A lot of people are saying that clickthrough rate from search results and retention on the page are big factors for ranking nowadays. Wouldn't these stats be easy to manipulate with bots and a bunch of proxies? Are there programs that do this?

There are not just proxies - there are companies that offer that service.

Mind linking me some?

I can't really offer that as I was part of a group that financed a start up that did that so it would look pretty crappy on my part should I offer that info.

There are at least 2 members on BHW that offer that - not sure if they have BSTs but I know of 2 that do offer that service and perhaps they will chime in... maybe post in the WTB subforum and you'll get a better response to that request.

Not looking to buy, just wanted to read their sales pitches out of curiosity. Funny that even on this forum there is a lot of talk about how important these metrics are for SEO but no talk of blackhat methods for affecting them.

I have a lot of experience with this

I mainly use a spanish software called SEOBOX whioch is very innovative

For me the results where mixed. I have no doubt that real traffic moves serps via CTR etc but this is headless chrome generated traffic

I saw on my Google console that I have over than 20% CTR is that "NORMAL" ??? as I want to apply for Adsense and don't want to get in trouble lol CTR 1.PNG CTR.PNG

If you are looking for a software that can do this for videos and blogs I use vid attack alpha by Anthony Hayes. You will need proxies. I use 50 proxies at a time. I have never had a problem. It works like a charm. ( I am not associated with the software. I just love it).

I agree that retention is an important factor for ranking but the clickthrough rate is not.

Hey Angelheld, I've just checked the Vid Attack and it looks like something I should definitely use for YouTube.
It is still good to use it?
would really appreciate some info on it, thanks buddy :)

Used it today:) Still working. Key, especially for the youtube videos, is to make sure that Google is actually showing videos on the search for your particular keyword.

Wait until tomorrow though to get it. They just did a launch on a new software that find expired domain names and rebuilds them with original files from archive so their server is getting hit hard.

Wow thank you for the time to respond, I really appreciate it.
And last question for you before I get it,
for example, how many high retention views can I get on my Yt video, as many as I want depending on how many proxies I use right?
I just want to be sure they will stick (non stop).

Thank you!

I agree that retention is an important factor for ranking but the clickthrough rate is not.
Google has filed patents that use clickthrough rate and other factors for determining SERPs.
Look at the "user interaction" part here, there's some pretty interesting stuff:

Think of the power that fake traffic could have for affecting these factors, for example with "pogo sticking".
