Manipulate your SERP ctr - Increase Rankings

Hypothetically speaking if google takes the ctr value as a significant measure of ranking/positioning, wouldn't there be a way to easily manipulate this?

A bot that perhaps searches for queries for which you would like to rank, click on your listing, browse through the pages for x seconds.

*New the BHW, pre-appologies if too much of an amateur question!

Only 1 answer to it. Test it and find out for yourself. If it worked you think they would share it here? Search the forums as there are few programs that do what you're talking about over time. Pretty sure scrape box will do this as well not positive.

@h2obrandon I mean aside social signals, backlinks, its only normal to consider the behaviour of users when searching for a certain query! But i guess you're right, i unfrotnatly operate on a mac and am not too sure that scrape box fully works on here

There's a free service here that does exactly that...increase CTR. Let me find it.
