Can you combine CB and content locking? Like claim you have a promo code for a CB product. You'll content lock the code which you don't really have. When the user unlocks it, he will be sent to a page that says there are no more codes available and will be given a link to the actual sales page of the CB product.

I wouldn't do this. You're starting off your relationship with the prospect on the wrong foot and he'll be in a negative frame of mind (and unlikely to buy). It's the opposite of what we always preach (offer useful content, build trust, etc...)

I have read some of the guides here while deciding on what area of IM I should particularly focus on, but after reading your impressive PDF guide I really felt motivated and eager to start up on affiliate program. Thank you so much for this guide, you gave some extremely valuable information in your ebook. My main takeaways:
* Asking for a review copy from CB vendor = to see how they communicate and if they care about their product
* Making a micro niche website with not only CTAs to CB, but also opt-in forms to collect emails of people who are still on the fence
* Workflow for pinterest promotion = straight to the point, loved it
* Paid traffic = don't focus on cheap clicks, think about ROI, because expensive clicks can mean a much better quality traffic.
