Managed cPanel VPS recommendation

Hi

My sites (thanks to Blackhat methods) get pounded by Google spiders everyday. So much that I had to leave my current provider SiteGround. Their first tier for Managed CPAnel VPS is $180 which is a huge jump from $17.

Do any of you hatters have a reliable, cost-effective recommendation. Ref links are fine as long as the service is solid.
