Mammoth Update Incoming?

There's definitely something going on. First noticed it this morning, was waiting for this thread to pop up.

Huge difference between Google datacentres. I'm getting absolutely different serps from my home and my VPSs. Used to be almost identical just a few days ago.

Big shift on my side for low comp keywords. Specifically for pages with on page targeted for those low comp keywords.

Pages that use to rank and nowhere to be found on the serps now. Happened in the last couple of hours.

WTf one of my sites in English is getting what seems to be strictly Turkish traffic and a TON more than usual!

Edit to add: It's coming from YouTube?

No changes here. Websites are dutch so maybe the update will strike here later on

My tracking tool is showing a huge update incoming right now. Seeing massive changes (all pages outside of page 1 are changing completely so far across about 150 terms I track).

Are you tracking with Serpwoo?

One of my dutch sites shot up in the SERPS this morning, will check tonight to see whether it sticks.

If you guys were using Serpwoo you would see all the volatility for each of your keywords today, yesterday, and the last 7/14/28 day average too to know if it was real movement.

It's not some generic function like Moz's weather cast for just 1000 top random KWs, it for your niche.. your keywords each.

No changes here too. May be the Tsunami is too big and is talking time to reach places

What's happening here. Seeing more changes in my sites. The SERP results are changing don't know what's going on. but till now there are many positive changes. But it's challenged one for me. let's see.

Hey man, what you say? Is there some update going on? I guess you can tell it easy way as you got all that data :)

Went down and came (mostly) back to same positions as before. Let's see if there's more to come.

I'm not seeing much changes as far as my websites are concerned. I guess I will have to wait and watch. Let's hope this update is positive for most of us. If it has anything to do with inner pages, I think I'll be just fine. I've been building almost equal number of back links to all my sub pages.

I'm noticing some positive changes, lets wait for some more days to see.

4 of my keywords has improved a total of 500 serpranks in 1 day.. is this because of new update?

It appears google has reversed this update they did yesterday, at least for the time being. I'm still modifying my new site builds accordingly, as it this is likely something Google will eventually roll out permanently (inner page preferential treatment)

This is so wiered!

So some different sites I'm tracking which were ranking on category pages,
suddenly category pages didnt rank, but a random product from category page ranked.

So when the product ranked instead, it was of course very low ranked.

So example:
Category page for Cables ranked #1
Product page for Cable(no BLs) N/A

Then:
Category page for Cables ranked N/A
Product page for Cable(no BLs) #10

Now:
Back to normal.

This is so wiered! Makes no sense at all. I don't get it.

Appears to be a huge failure on the part of the Google team to try and eliminate more SEOed sites that just wound up with a lot of parasite pages ranking all the sudden. Not sure what the motive behind it was, but all the things I track are back to normal (after major shifting). In Google's mind they probably thought that inner pages of sites, those who have links to those pages, are less likely to be SEOed. I suspect they'll roll this out again at some point.

Are you tracking with Serpwoo?

No I use a script I made that I load sites into which watches google's changes by region.
