I've just had a site come back yesterday that has been struggling since May 2014 - All my targeted terms are now 2nd on page 1. No idea why this has happened either. Before this they where all bottom of page 2. Google change or just my site change?

I have just seen most of my keywords jumped up a lot in SERP the past couple of day. Not sure if its because of any change in Google algo or my link building effort

We are also experiencing good amout of ranking fluctuations for the web properties that we track. Something big on the way.

Anyway my site got hit hard, I was ranking stably #2 for months and then overnight (August 26th) I got hit hard and now I'm on page 7 for my main terms.
Does anyone have an idea what this update targeted? my site had a clean link profile with no spammy links.
