First of all, like many of my fellow BHW members, I don't really like Reddit and don't use it personally.
That being said, I certainly understand the amount of traffic it gets and the potential it has for marketing.
In the past I tried Reddit ads with some physical product stores I had, and while the stats were great in terms of CTR and CPC, the overall conversions on my sites were terrible.
This time around I'm testing Reddit ads for a whitehat IM service with a slight twist.
Instead of a basic ad headline I've added little phrases that make it seem like I'm a fellow Redditor. So somewhere in the title I've added "Fellow Redditor Here..." or "Long-Time Redditor Here".
Not sure why I never thought of it before, but with that obvious tip I now have a profitable Reddit ad campaign, which I genuinely never thought would happen!
Hopefully someone else out there can use this idea to twist their campaign and make it work for them.
Any questions let me know, but Reddit ads are pretty straight forward, not many other tips to share at the moment.
