I used to work with those sites back in 2011 & 2012, Never made a single $, I wish I knew about CPA that time, Actually I found about Clickbank while searching for other PTC site but my English didn't help, I couldn't understand a s*** from what I read on CB homepage hhh.
PTC died years ago, Even owning your own doesn't worth it anymore, ten thousands of websites with the same script same ads sometimes, the few ones that dominates the game are some authority sites, even those depend on GPT by 90%, and not the PTC model, either by asking peoples to complete offer walls from CPA networks or having offers from direct advertisers, even GPT biz was on the same road, but got a boost because of smartphones, peoples started creating GPT apps & there was a big market in App stores. The reason why ptc was there is the advertisers, since few years ago, facebook ads becomes available for everyones , adwords was there, PPV traffic, so there is no need anymore for those sites, even those who want randoms clicks could find it cheaper than the packages sold by those ptc sites, and don't forget the internet got flooded with Marketing courses & info, so peoples were & still looking for quality traffic.
If you want to make money from these sites, then better start your own GPT site & restrict it to few countries, make or order a custom script, and find some good incentives for users.
