Making money off Megavideo Rewards program

Yeah, I'm curious to know if anyone else has tried this. I honestly think it is a great idea.

Ok, so there has not been a post to authenticate this theory so this thread is still just speculation, so I will continue in the theme.

What is to keep you from going a little more BH and putting a video rotator on your iframes with the seven second videos. In Theory you could get say 25 or 30 really short videos that could be used in rotation in the frames. If the TOS say one credit per IP per video per day, put the main video with 5 below, with a frame rotator so that while the viewer is watching the video for 30 minutes you rotate all of your videos through and you get credited with 30 credits per person.

30 credits per person x 5K visitors per day = 150K credits per day.

Megavideo would probably catch on REALLY quickly this way so you could scale it back a bit, but who is to say that this concept would not work.

Any feedback on this would be appreciated before I expend my time on this.

Just a hunch, but I doubt you will ever see that $10,000 for 5M hits, worth a try though.

They seem kinda shady. I bet you would get "your hits did not meet your bssomethingorother requirements.....heres 500 bucks"

BEWARE OF THIS METHOD! READ THIS INFORMATION FIRST!!!

Many people including me have been scammed by Megavideo. They are well known for not paying out rewards, shaving views & payments. Megavideo is run and owned by a blackhatter, self claimed hacker and convicted financial fraudster. He is a scammer and a glorified internet star called Kim Schmitz aka Kimble who used to run kimpire.com, kimble.org. He fled his own country Germany or Sweden (Sorry I forget) after his convictions to setup shop in Hong Kong with megavideo, megaupload and megaerotic.

He is such a dumbass but I give him credit as he seems to make millions, lose it all, the make more millions, lose it, make millions again and so on....He just dreams up these crazy ideas and people believe him, invest and pay. Read the following press on him:

Haha! A legend in his own right, and earning dosh but I personally would not hold my breath for any payments. Who would work with a convicted felon and expect to get paid?

BE CAREFUL, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I already have almost 1 million views on megarotic and I am pretty sure I won't get anything from them except for the lifetime membership. They are notorious for not paying our reward points. Also, they shave like hell. I have 100k daily views min and only get 2-3k reward points, which is ridiculous.

yea they still owe me about $500

megaupload = megarotic = megavideo ... are in the same servers

megarotic used to be a nice site ($1500/month) uploading amateur videos, they always paid me... now they shave and shave...

PS: megavideo clips doesn't autostart you must to click play... megarotic has autoplay but they know about iframes and other shits....

Also Megavideo uses a Blackhat technique now for people trying to view videos. It will say you have reached your viewing/bandwidth limit from your IP today try again in XX amount of hours or upgrade to a premium account, or they use fill in these surveys, offers etc. They must be turning over loads with peeps who dont know this is a scam.

can u give us an exemple of an iframe code with a megavideo vid ?
i haven't find a way to make one
thanx :)

Are you going to get banned for having like 10 videos auto-playing through iframes on the same page?

Yes...They scam people. When you reach many hits. They will simply ban you.Better avoid working with them.Just my advice=)

Id have to think about the best ways to get traffic, but this could very well work

If they actually pay you could find some really really cheap US traffic from sites like
AdEngage and just arbitrage the traffic. Send that traffic to your iframed page and
bam lots of views for pennys.

Ive tried that and it didnt work. I made 6 6 second videos and then bought some traffic and after a few days I lost all of my profits. I also did some research on the website and it seems that its a scam. Think for a minute about how that website makes money by people watching videos because I surely cant figure it out.

You mean they banned your account? I wonder if it's because you picked a site
that didn't send enough US traffic or if that site that you bought traffic from
was really just sending bot traffic.
